hi hope ure doing okay !!

I'm doing okay! Just burned out from college, and now that I'm on summer vacation, I'm taking some time to myself to indulge in things I couldn't these past couple of months like gaming, writing more of my OC's story (Just posted chapter 9!) among other things! Hey Ace how’s life going? Have you ever been overwhelmed with work? Bc I am with Literature and Shakespeare!

AP is a nightmare!!!!!!!!!

“I think we all get a little overwhelmed with work from time to time. Missions can get very stressful, and there are days where I wonder if I should go out there or not. But, the best advice I can give is to power through and keep finding the positives.

Advanced classes are very difficult! But the fact that you’re doing them means you’re a lot tougher than most. Keep going and do your best work. It’s okay if you fall or get distracted every now and then. It’s normal. You’ll have days where you’re in a funk and can’t get out. Just do the best you can and you’ll be just fine. I believe in you. Good luck with your classes!”

Jordan, do you feel it was unfair how Aruni pulled you through the wall? Considering nobody else can do that, she can just because of her prosthetic. Either way, I'd be super happy to have an answer, love you! <3

“Nah, I wouldn’t call it unfair. Aruni was just usin’ what she had to her advantage. I know anyone would have done the same thing. I’m glad to see she hasn’t let what happened back during our mission together get the better of her. She’s fighting just as strong, if not twice as much than she had before. It’s great to be able to see what she’s been able to do.”

Heey flores!from an Argentine to another! Do you miss Argentina? Hows rainbow treating you so far?

“Ah, from one Argentine to another- I do miss being home, but I had to leave... Thanks to Ash, I was able to build myself a new life in Los Angeles and carry out my work. I was a bit surprised that she cashed in her favor so soon, but hey, take the opportunities where you can get them. Joining Rainbow has been an interesting experience so far.

Grace and Tori have been wonderful company during our lunch breaks. We’ve talked for hours about our gadgets, and Tori seems really interested in cracking my drone open and taking a look at the inner workings... maybe I’ll let her soon, but not yet.

Other than that, I haven’t been here for very long, so there’s still a lot more to see and do.”

Soutien, do you get on well with Doc?

“I would hope so! Gustave and I have been friends for a long time. We had first met back when I was just starting school at the University of Paris. He had inspired me into pursuing a career in combat medicine instead of being a general practitioner. We hadn’t seen each other for years after he graduated, so finally getting to reunite with him in Rainbow was a very exciting opportunity. We’ve made quite the team working together in the medical wing. I try to take over the paperwork as often as he’ll let me so he can get some more rest. Oh, and don’t tell him I told you this, but I’ve been replacing his coffee with decaf when he isn’t looking. He hasn’t seemed to notice, but he really does need to cut back on the caffeine. I’ve been working on doing that myself, too.”

Doc, how have you been during the pandemic?

“I’ve been better, to be honest, but I’m making the most out of the current situation. My work hasn’t changed too much, surprisingly. I’ve been conducting my work as usual in Greece, and I’ve been working closely with Six to make sure the base is following the new protocols in place for training and social interaction. We have routine temperature checks, medical examinations, COVID testing, voluntary vaccination is in place as well. However, we have limited traveling outside of the base.

Protocols aside, the pandemic has taken a toll on all of us. There’s been a few concerns about when this will be over and when we can return to how we’ve done our work in the past, but I can’t give them a good answer until we’ve gotten to see the vaccine’s effectiveness.”

Hello! I hope this finds you well :)

So, a while back I kinda did a “How do you pronounce Håvard Haugland” thing. I’ve since done some research( thank fuck my exams are over) and I found out there are some mistakes in the pronunciation I gave.

My question is : do I just go back and edit or make a whole new post? I feel kind of bad about spreading missinformation...

I’d say just make a new post! I’ll gladly repost it. We all make mistakes, and I’m still really curious about the pronunciation of Ace’s name.

Uhmm.... two things, Jordan. One... Aw shame, I was about to ready my evil laugh when your breaching charge is about to go boom. Two, I better hope you didn't had too much injuries there. I ended up darting out of my chair and scrambled around in search of a first aid kit.

“Haha, yeah I think my head was kinda scrambled. Looking back I have no fuckin’ idea why I put my exothermic charges on that wall, but I’m alright. Aruni didn’t hurt me that bad, just some bruises and some cuts from being pulled through the wall, but nothing major. I was actually surprised she could do that! Thanks for worryin’, but there’s no need. I’ve seen much worse.”

How does everyone feel about an Operator who has a drone that can explode? Or that he’s a master thief?

“There’s a little controversy about Flores joining our ranks, but for the most part, his arrival has received a very positive reception. Our newest operative has already made great friends with Specialists Gridlock and Dokkaebi. He and our resident ‘demolitions expert’, Thermite, also seem to be forming a good friendship. They went to discuss their devices in the labs a few hours ago, and they just now took a break for lunch.

Flores is so far making a positive impact on the team, and I look forward to seeing what else he may bring.”

Ash was right. Usin’ teammates as bait was shitty, and shouldn’t have been done. And Kali was pushin’ her buttons just because she could. I won’t stand for that kind of behavior. Especially when it’s aimed at someone I consider family. I’m disappointed that my two best friends didn’t seem to think the same way.”
