Day 16 - freedom

This is inspired around a headcanon I have about Calico Jack since he is canonically the oldest out of everyone. During his years of living, particularly during childhood, he’s seen some things. Back then, the world wasn’t as accepting, especially his own family, it terrified him. One day, he left home and never went back, promising to himself that he’d brake that cycle of abuse with his own child, and he did. Nowadays there are some who aren’t accepting and hateful, but things are better, he has an amazing support system, grandchild and people, who he doesn’t share blood with, but he calls family anyway. It took a lot longer than he expected but he’s finally free.

I was thinking of what to do and for some reason my mind went to beauty and the beast, and well, I do have a character called ‘The Beast’ so yea

This one also took a bit, like I had to pull an all nighter just to get it done in time, also tried a new brush for the Lineart

Important update on the 30 day pride art challenge

I’m changing one of the prompts

I was doing some planning for the upcoming days and got to day 15, which was ‘Two Spirit’, and I didn’t understand it so I looked it up and from what I gathered it’s traditionally Native American individuals who combined activities from males and females with traits unique to their status as Two-Spirit people

The reason I’m changing the prompt is that I’m not very knowledgeable on Native Americans and I feel it would be very insensitive and inappropriate if I attempted to draw something on a subject I do not know anything about so I believe it’s for the best to do a different prompt entirely, which is now cuddles
