There was another one I made that was Barnacles x Shellington, however it contained some pretty suggestive stuff, and I think the way I drew it was a bit too suggestive so I decided against adding it, but if anyone really wants to see it, I’ll post it separately (I say posting one of the characters literally bleeding out lol)

Context for anyone who needs it about the ‘breakup’ in the 5th pic -in my AU, Natquik and CJ are exes, Natquik is bitter about it

Octonauts Headcanons pt. 2-How Are They With Kids?

-The Octonauts-

Cap. Barnacles: While Barnacles is great around young adults and teens, he's not great with little kids. He's overly frightened he's going to hurt a little kid, so he tends to be excessively gentle. This applies even more so to Ursa and Olson.

Kwazii: He's pretty good with kids, mainly because he has the mentality of a middle schooler.

Peso: Peso's great with kids! He's babysat his relatives many times before.

Tweak: She hates kids, and has no idea what to do with anyone besides Koshi and Bud, who are both teens.

Dashi: She's great with her sister, but only decent with other kids.

Shellington: He's the opposite of Barnacles-He's good with young kids and babies and meeting their needs, but he's not good with pre-teens and teens because he's scared of their judgements. He's great with the vegimals, which are at the oldest 10, because he raised them.

Professor Inkling: He's grandpa with younger people now, but he's historically not great at filtering himself around kids. There have been many times where he called other people stupid in school for not being as book-smart as he is, which earned him a lot less friends.

-The Vegimals-

Tunip: Being the oldest, he's great with kids. This goes without saying.

Codish: He's the type to accidentally say a cuss word around a kid and panic when they repeat it.

Grouber: He's the type to accidentally (or purposefully) say a cuss word around a kid and laugh his head off when they repeat it.

Barrot: Barrot hates kids. He only mildly dislikes Tominnow, but that's because they're both young.

Tominnow: She's 3, so I bet she's causing chaos on playgrounds.

Pikato: He's also 3, but he's trying to stop Tominnow from causing chaos on said playground.

Sharchini: He loves babysitting and working with kids, but is an absolute wreck.

Halibeet: Halibeet is entirely indifferent to kids. Kid plays hide and seek and chooses the oven as a hiding spot? He'll let Sharchini turn it on, and when he panics, he'll just reply, "what? They're gaining life experience".

-The Octo-Agents-

Paani: Paani is an agent of chaos, he should NOT be trusted with kids.

Prof. Natquik: He taught Barnacles when he was a polar scout, of course he is!

Calico Jack: He doesn't necessarily hate kids, but he will lose any child he's in charge of-rip CJ's child.

Tracker: He doesn't have much experience with kids, but would probably act like a camp counselor.

Ryla: I feel like she doesn't like kids and thinks they're gross

"Can the kid fit in there?" she points to a 0.00006 milimeter cave hole. "Well what are you doing standing there? Let's find out!"

Pearl: Literally the most fun mom to Periwinkle ever because she's a professor

Bianca: She is also a great mom, but a bit more typical than Pearl.

Min: I honestly have no idea. I don't think she interacts with them often.

Ranger Marsh: He's great with kids! He's a ranger and a father!

Selva: She is also great with kids. She reminds me of my Memom lmao

Koshi: Koshi probably thinks little kids are gross, but she tries to be cool around kids older than her.

Bud: Clueless. Utterly clueless.

Pinto: He gets along great with kids younger and older than him because like Peso, he has a lot of relatives and a lot of chances to grow used to both.

Periwinkle: we don't know, he's a baby, but I bet he's a delight to have at daycare :)

Bianca and Barnacles as cubs!!

I hc Barney was a very small cub (she literally called him feather paws because of how easy she could beat him up). I also think she's still significantly bigger than him, even as adults!

Dude, I had a dream that Barnacles was on the floor sleeping, and Orson and Ursa were on his bed. Like ha sacrificed his bed to the twins, lol.

I know we have a fan group of sorts, but I didn't know it was strong enough for people to dream about us! .In all honesty, I would much rather sleep on the floor than my own bed if Bianca and her cubs came over for the night. It would be selfish of me to not do that!

Octonauts Headcanons pt. 1-Can they Cook?

-The Octonauts-

Cap. Barnacles: Only the basics. He grew up around people with PhD's who have made revolutionary discoveries yet can't work a microwave.

Kwazii: NO. Kwazii is absolutely banned from the kitchen.

Peso: He can make pretty complex things with instructions, but he's useless without. He's also a medic so he tends to forget to make his nutrient dense patient meals actually palatable.

Tweak: Like her dad, she can make home-cooked simple meals, but nothing fancy. She makes a MEAN crab boil, but can't make it because they're literally in the middle of the ocean and Peso will tell her she's traumatizing Professor Inkling. Y'know, the Prof. Inkling who loves crab boil as long as it's not too spicy? yeah, him.

Dashi: She's not great at cooking but is really good at baking. She taught the Vegimals how to bake.

Shellington: Never let him into a kitchen without someone supervising, he will think of something to add to his records on an animal and forget he was cooking. He can only use the microwave.

Professor Inkling: Unlike other professors (*cough cough* NATQUIK), Professor Inkling is actually really good at cooking. He's not great at seasoning, being British, but Tweak picks up his slack in that department.

Inkling and Tweak worked together to teach the Vegimals how to cook.

-The Vegimals-

Tunip: Tunip is the best at cooking out of the Vegimals. Being the oldest, he's usually the one to handle anything hazardous like ovens, hot pans, and particularly sharp knives.

Grouber: This big back only learned how to cook so he could make himself actually decent midnight snacks without stealing from Tunip.

Barrot: Barrot has a minimal hand in the kitchen because he sucks at cleaning his own messes.

Tominnow: While she is allowed in the kitchen, she isn't allowed to do much because she's the youngest and can barely hold a knife straight.

Codish: Codish also has very little appearances in the kitchen because he's so clumsy.

Pikato: Same situation as Tominnow, but even less so, because he's mainly a cleaner.

Halibeet: Halibeet isn't in the kitchen much just because he doesn't like cooking at all. He'll only help in the kitchen if Codish drags him in.

Sharchini: The second-best at cooking, Sharchini rarely leaves the kitchen.

-The Octo-Agents-

Paani: Paani is a chef, so of course he's the best at cooking of the octo-agents. He can make basically anything, but is best with Indian food.

Prof. Natquik: He sucks at cooking, so he survives on takeout and microwave meals at the big age of 54.

Calico Jack: Only slightly better than Kwazii, but still banned from being in a kitchen. He got banned from the kitchen by Marsh when Calico Jack, Ranger Marsh, and Natquik were having a dad-day, and Calico nearly set the entire everglades on fire by putting a small metal tray In the microwave.

Tracker: He's surprisingly good at cooking, for some odd reason. Maybe it was the loving family, who knows.

Ryla: She can't cook because she'll forget to check if she has all the ingredients for a recipe, then use so many wrong substitutes that it becomes inedible, but she'll still eat it because she is a garbage disposal for food.

Pearl: Absolutely!

Bianca: Maybe, but I feel like she has mediocre cooking and nobody will tell her except Olson.

Min: Probably, but only the chinese food her parents taught her how to make. Also, Min strikes me as a vegetarian, so she probably can't cook meat-based stuff very well.

Ranger Marsh: He can make simple, really good home-cooked meals, but again, nothing fancy.

Selva: There's no way she isn't a great cook "I HAVE MORE OCTONAUTS HEADCANONS!!!" I say as i'm dragged to a white padded room
