The mewtwo tilted their head back and said it with a smile, being glad that they remember their parents words and meeting a cool pokemon.

The babytwo panicked, holding the seashells tightly before calming down. Remembering that their family is.. Close by. Or so they think. They continue to stand there, forgetting what to do now.

"And and! I love them very much so I try to get much shells that reminds me of them! And ish a surprise so sssssh!"

The mewtwo made a shushing sound before giggling, their tail wags left and right. Not worrying into getting lost in the beach, nor their footsteps being buried by the sands, making no trail back.

Sorry, could you at least run by me again why size is a restriction? I run an entire organization that also goes into dangerous places and I have never placed a size restriction. I also checked with other organizations and guilds and they have no such restrictions either despite their potential dismemberment for hazard pay.

Is this size restriction to guilds unique to this region? I am curious because as I said, I have not heard this in other regions.

“I’m not sure what guilds are like from where either of you are from but in this region size restrictions are common especially in higher ranked guilds. Placing smaller mons like that on the front lines is just asking for something bad to occur. Miniature Pokémon have a much higher chance of being badly wounded or separated from their team, and thus their additions to exploration teams are heavily monitored. We also maintain a power restriction at this guild that unfortunately many miniature Pokémon are unable to meet without first evolving. These restrictions are in place for their safety and the safety of their teammates.”

The Meganium trotted up to the Zangoose, and, in a commanding tone, said, "Pardon me, but I heard that a Gimmighoul was refused entry into this guild due to being 'too small'. Care to explain that?"

“When you’re as small as me it’s usually assumed you’re gonna be a liability in some way so they bar you from joining or stick you with desk work.” Crow paused, studying their angry faces before grinning.

A Zangoose stands at the front desk distracted by the paperwork, will you bother them?

“We are here in the region for an annual family conference,” Maria says, mindlessly adjusting the ribbon under her collar. “It is a bit of a long story and nothing to be too concerned with. This year, the family is simply choosing which heir will earn the right to the title of the next Family Head."

Prince lowers his head. “Yeah, but I’m way too young to be able to compete. All my older cousins or siblings are at least 18 or 19 years old. So my mother tells me not to get in their way.”

“But that’s okay! I don’t wanna be a Family Head, anyway. Too much responsibility. We left the conference to go out on our own little adventure. Isn’t that right, Miss Maria!”

The Umbreon nervously tugs at her collar again. She seems to stare off with a worried expression until she is addressed, in which she shakes her head and speaks up.

“Oh, yes. That is correct. To adventure through a place we once lived, years ago.”

Destino: Hope this damn communicator works. Ah, there we go! So, heroes of this world, huh? That just seems like too much responsibility. Why bother? What do you actually gain from continuing your efforts? Surely, now that you’ve actually saved the world or whatever, you’d just wanna kick back and have fun?

"Well, we do go out to just have fun sometimes," Gen says, looking at the communicator. "Sometimes I take the rest of the Council to vacations in the human world."

"We gain a world to continue living in, and seeing it continue to thrive," Acacia said, narrowing his eyes. "Saving the world isn't always a one-and-done deal. There's reparations to do, therapy to organize, and there's always more to help with."

"Besides, some of those improvements can help us kick back and have fun more, too!" Leviene said, wagging their tail. "We're starting to bring over 'video games' from the human world! They're super fun!"

"It was a puzzle to figure out how to make them accessible for many different species, but I'd say it's worth it!" Pahelia said. "But it's also worth it to continue helping. Like Acacia said, keeping the world alive is its own reward."
