Dear Death's Head,
How is Vee doing? Is he still living with those nice Young Avengers boys?
Dear Vee Worrier,
I have yet to encounter Vee again in person since deciding to travel with Dr. Necker yet my young counterpart seems to be having quite the number of adventures on his own, yes? He frequently messages my communicator detailing his escapades on Earth. Becoming less interested in when I will return, he instead uses the messages as a journal of sorts. I continue to read it because it’s quite entertaining, right? He states that he still stayed with the witch and his partner, until they left to venture into space and eventually join the Guardians of the Galaxy. They entrusted the apartment to him for the foreseeable future mostly to make sure the plants stayed watered, hm? He also seems to have taken a liking to heroics and stayed in contact with Hawkeye asking her to keep an eye out for the other Death’s Heads. In return she sends him to handle smaller issues she cannot attend to in time, most recently helping the Champions evade the law which led to them recruiting him into their ranks as a reserve member. I don't quite understand his desire to help others with no benefit to himself, but he seems to be faring well for such a new creation, yes? If our paths cross again I surely hope it isn’t on opposing sides. He clearly does not contain the desire to end my life even if it’s quite possible he has the ability. Fortunate for me at least, hrm?

Dear Death's Head, ever been in a band?
Dear Tune Talker, It would depend on what you consider being in a band, hm? For a short period of time I unwillingly served as an amp for some truly unruly teenagers. I would list it in the top five times my body has not been under my own control, yes? Not a pleasant experience and the music wasn’t even well made. In times where work is low, I have occasionally served as a bodyguard for bands in need of protection. One earth band ventured into space after developing an alliance with that universe’s Autobots and required protection from the enemies they had collectively made. I rarely see many superheroic teams in the Cybertronian focused universes so this made the experience a unique one, right? They paid handsomely, had much better music, and I even was able to co-op some useful Hologram technology from them. I must admit I still try to obtain Jem’s latest singles when I’m nearby that timeline. I doubt they’d approve of my actions while listening to them but it’s always good to have something upbeat while hunting down targets. My own personal showtime, yes?

Dear Death's Head, have you ever encountered a Cybertronian craft bearing your name?
Dear Craft Curious, Encountered multiple, yes? It seems in some universes I’ve traveled to I do not exist, but my influence has reached anyways. A downer to not be aware of my presence, hm? Something about multiversal echoes. I don’t get into the science of things, but Dr. Necker once attempted to explain it to me. Fell on deaf audio receptors, eh? In any case, the first time I came into contact with a ship bearing a similar name was the Death’s Head owned by a particularly unlikeable character named Lockdown. Trust no one who revels in the title of bounty hunter, yes? Both Lockdown and I were hired by a rather egotistical fellow who led the Cybertronian government to hunt down a handful of Decepticons who were scattered to the stars. Such underhanded procedure for one who once called himself a Prime but whatever pays the bills, yes? I often prefer to never work with others, but under the table governmental contracts always pay well. This Lockdown was much like me, yes? A distinguished way of carrying himself, a large assortment of weaponry, and even a hand that could switch out attachments. If I had known any better I would have sued him for copyright infringement, eh? We worked rather well together and the ship holding my name was well suited for travel and holding the collected Decepticon prisoners. It all went well until he betrayed me on our final recovery, deciding he wanted to take the reward for himself. Taking me by surprise, he threw me into the holding cells along with everyone we captured. While there I struck up a deal with one of the prisoners. Swindle was not too keen on being handed over to the government he had betrayed so many times and offered me a reward and extra armaments in return for freeing him and taking out Lockdown. Who am I to say no to such an incredible deal? In the duration of our fight, Swindle escaped without paying me but my superior abilities were easily able to take out Lockdown. After rummaging through his personal collection to add to my own and dropping those collected and Lockdown himself off to Sentinel, I promptly left that universe. No good wallowing in betrayal. A useful time for learning how to deal with Lockdowns in any universe though, yes? A mech I have run into much since then. And as much as I would have liked to keep the ship as my own it takes considerable energy to jump from universe to universe with such a large cruiser. And even I’m not that vain, hrm?

In Lost Light Rodimus gives a “dying wish” to have a Freelance Peacekeeping Agent hunt down Getaway with a gun made from his own parts. Do you think things would’ve ended better if you had a hand in the finale of Lost Light ?
Dear Rodimus Worrier,
Ended better? You are only aware of the reality where I did not become involved then, yes? In one universe Rodimus got his wish. I was paid very handsomely for blowing Getaway’s brain module out using a particularly gaudy Pathblaster built from the DJD obliterated corpse of the former Prime. For me I'd say it ended very well, hm? I was sent to a different universe soon after I completed my job and do not know the final fate of that dimension. Last I heard much of the surviving crew repainted themselves in his color scheme to pay respects. A waste of good credits on overtly neon paint, right? I did keep the weapon (after a well needed repaint) as much as they desired it back. The Pathblaster function began to decay soon after. Turned it into a flamethrower. Suitable reuse, yes?

Dear Death's Head, Are you aware of a human called Simon Furman? I might have a job for you.
Dear Furman Fanatic, Unfortunately, I am very aware of the organic known as Simon Furman. He is responsible for recounting many of my adventures to the people of your reality, yes? I would be grateful but he tends to enjoy recounting ones where I fail at my contracts. Not good for business, eh? You would not be the first to ask me to end his life. I have had variable success depending on which version I am sent against. One particular Furman wielded the artifact known as the Quill, right? That Maximal wrote me into a different timeline to escape my pursuit. Always hated anything to do with the creations of those wretched Cybertronian gods. In any case, I believe at some point a version of me killed an iteration of him after a bout of annoyance when he interrupted me while speaking. I try not to kill without monetary gain but some beings require a short sharp lesson in times to speak, yes?

Do you ever feel bad for killing Shockwave?
Dear Regret Researcher, I try not to gain remorse in my line of work. Bad for business, eh? I will make an exception here though. Killing Shockwave at the behest of Unicron’s mental control was not a pleasant experience. I do not enjoy killing with no reason and much less killing for someone else with no profit. Plus, I do state in my contracts to not be subject to mind control, yes? If you may remember Shockwave had previously been using me (before I became involved with Unicron) for his own gain in order to take out Scourge and Cyclonus. Unsavory character, hrm? Even though it was well deserved, Shockwave’s death is no high point in my career. Fortunately, I was able to participate in Unicron’s downfall in that reality. A lesson in the importance of respecting one’s personal space, right? And while I never got a more respectable face off with this particular Shockwave for his use of me, I may have to admit to taking a few jobs in some realities against other versions of him in retaliation. He reminds me of unpleasant times. Call it my one grudge, yes?

Dear Death's Head, we've already seen many of your wrist attachments—any chance you can give us a full list?
Dear Ammunitions Asker, Interested in the tools of the trade, hm? I gain a great deal of fondness for the accoutrements I pick up in my travels. You are probably aware of the most used of my attachments:
- Titanium shott blaster, my go-to blaster. Dispatches most foes with ease, yes? - Duratanium Mace, lost it a few times, eh? Having to get a new one forged becomes very irritating. - Axe, quite good for cutting through structures in my way. Much better at cutting through people though, yes? - Tornado Rocket Launcher, specially designed to shoot electrified missiles. Useful for taking down those in powered armor, right? - Projectile Spear, often called a harpoon but I rarely go fishing. These are the basics, eh? More or less what I tend to keep in my default arsenal when fulfilling a contract. It’d be a tactical opportunity for those I’m hunting to know my full range of armaments, yes? I can spare knowledge of a few of my optional favorites over the years though.
- EMP Generator, quite dangerous for a mechanoid like me to wield, right? As long as I point it away from myself I’ve had great success in using it to disable the electrical fields of my kind. - Mouse Hole, surprisingly a human invented laser cutter. Picked up from my time on Earth and have had great use. Sometimes a simple blade doesn’t cut it, eh? - Death-lock pincer, some jobs have specifications on how they’d prefer a target to be killed, yes? Picked this complex blade up from a rather nasty reality. Good for stabbing large targets and not much else. - Samus Blaster, variety is essential, yes? Sometimes you take a job in tight spaces and cannot carry much with you. This weapon has switchable ammo types compatible with a wide array of munitions. All-in-one for turning a huntee into hunted, right? - Deckard Cannon, I’m not often a fan of gimmick weapons but this is quite useful, eh? A dual purpose cannon and hologram generator that creates replicants of yourself to baffle your prey. Quite confusing, hm? - Powered Hook, I tend to rarely use this one. Feels derivative. Satisfied? Knowledge of my attachments does not equal knowledge of how I use them so perhaps in the future I’ll be willing to divulge more. Of course, you could always get to know them up close, yes?

Introductions Needed, Yes?
Salutations to those receiving this transmission. It has come to my knowledge multiple dimensions have become not only aware of my adventures but deeply entertained by them, eh? I'm well aware of how engrossing my experiences may be to those who may not live as ostentatious as I do. If you’re unacquainted the name’s Death’s Head, yes? The multiverse’s premiere Freelance Peacekeeping Agent. A businessman at heart, I’m willing to hunt down those who may be causing you trouble, eh? Always for a reasonable price. I’ve had quite an existence, often bouncing from dimension to dimension fulfilling contracts, and encountering some irritating organics and mechanoids. From truly exasperating Iron Men to unqualified Doctors to those war-obsessed Cybertronians, I'd consider myself well versed in the beings and matters of many universes, yes? Whether you’re familiar or not, I’m sure you must be interested in the knowledge of such a charming mechanoid such as myself, right? My experiences may have their bounds but it seems the majority of my travels and those of my counterparts have not made it to your dimensions. Not even the greatest hits, hrm? I'd hate mistruths to be told about me so I'm more than willing to fill in the cavities of your understanding. Altogether a different experience from creating holes in heads, eh? So feel free to ask the questions you seek answers to and I will answer them in between completing the contracts I acquire. Telling the stories of my past, present, and future serve as free marketing anyway, yes?
