Inias let out an unintelligible noise as Castiel said the word husband, couldn't help but stop and think about what it would be like to be married to Castiel and couldn't stop from looking down at both his and Castiel's hands trying to get the image of rings out of his head. He was an angel, he wouldn't be allowed to do such a human thing, would he? Especially not with a fallen angel- but goddamit Inias, keep focused and stop obsessing over a simple slip of the tongue.

"But what if you did have the choice? If you were allowed, would you really hold yourself over that of our- my, Garrison?" and that he had to know, because if Castiel would he knew there would be nothing he could do to get him back to Heaven. If there was one thing the angels knew was that the Garrison was most important.

“God Inias, don’t you know?” Cas said a little huffy. “If there were no obligations, no complications, I would have you with me always. As my mate, and my husband if you would have me.” Cas had realized what he said, after it came out of his mouth, but he sat there, and thought about it, and realized every word he said was true.

“Heaven won’t have me Inias, not the way I am.” He shook his head, and kissed him softly. “And it would be completely and utterly selfish for me to ask you to stay…” He said nodding trying to make himself believe it. “Completely selfish.” He muttered once again to himself.

Inias blinked looking up at Castiel, meeting his eyes properly this time, "You know this is the first time you've ever told me that if it was up to you solely you would have me stay here with you". And it was true, normally Castiel would profess his desire to have Inias stay here with him full time- although he would always adamantly insist that he would hurt Inias if he even thought of abandoning the Garrison.

"I could try and find a way to get you your wings back..." Inias mumbled, doubting he could ever really do it- short of just taking Castiel from where he stood and dumping him in Heaven. He really doubted the angels would appreciate him doing that. "I couldn't leave".

“I want you to stay.” Cas said almost too softly too hear, but he knew Inias would hear him. He wrapped his arms around his shoulders and kissed his temple. “You know I want you to.” He sighed and looked at him. “And if they can spare you, I would keep you here with me for the rest of my life.”

“I…” Cas sighed closing his eyes. He didn’t feel they would take kindly to him being up there with the host again, even though, it wasn’t him who waged war against his brethren. The host were unmovable, and he didn’t want to bring any trouble down on Inias’ head. But god he wanted to be with him, and if it was just on him, he’d say yes in a heart beat, but he knew it was all wishful thinking. “I want to Inias’, but we both know, no one wants me up there…”

"I just wish... I mean, I wish I could just stay here with you forever" Inias said, nestling into his body, his arm wrapping around Castiel's waist. "I love you, and wish I could stay" he said, knowing that the true meaning behind his words was both a responsibility he could never deny and something Castiel had already forbidden him from doing.

"Either that or you coming back upstairs with me" he said frowning into his body, and shaking his head slightly. He knew that Castiel wouldn't be able to return, or at least not for a long time given the fact that non of the angels had forgotten what he had done. Sigh.

Cas kissed his back threading his hand through his angel’s hair. “I love you too Inias, more than anything.” He said softly. He could believe he was standing here with him. When only days ago, he had threatened his life if he looked the it the wrong way. 

When Inias tugged him down, his heart stuttered a little. He saw his jack wedged in between everything else and grinned goofily. He wrapped his arms around the angel kissing his brow. “Me too Inias…My everything.” He said softly, tipping his head back to kiss him softy again.

Inias, it's been a while. How are you?

I've been good thanks Cas, angel duties have been keeping me busy.

How are things with you?

I've just found a ton of assorted asks, submits and "pass this on to eight people"'s in my ask, oops.

Replying, and also to Castiel. Because I love him. Alot.

The look in Castiels eyes was more than enough to make Inias' desicion to share the place he loved most with Castiel, the adoration and finally, finally, Castiel could see how much he loved him. He pulled him close kissing him passionately, "Castiel, I love you, I love you so much and you are the only person I've ever let into my nest- ever, and I just... I just hope that... I don't know, just... I love you".

He couldn't even put into words how he felt, only actions and with that he pulled Castiel down to the floor of his nest, his jacket just offside from him. Kissing him again, he closed his eyes and laid his head on his chest, "Everything I am is yours"

Cas was a little confused as Inias led him out of the room and up the stairs. When they got to the trap door at the attic his eyes widened a bit. He looked to the nest as his angel’s words sunk in. He nodded unable to speak, Inias’ words making him unable to form a coherent sentence. 

As the other man moved forward into the large nest Cas smiled, getting a little teary. This was major. This was a huge thing for Inias to allow him to do. He took his hand and stepped into the nest, pulling Inias into a soft kiss with a little whimper of gratitude. “Thank you.” He said not fully being able to put into words what this meant to him.

"I want to show you how much I love you", Inias said as he took Castiel by the hand and led him out of the room. Heading up the stairs with him he opened the attic door and led them into the highest room where his nest was. "I, uh, I don't really know how to say this other than- Cas, I love you enough to let you invade the one private thing I have in my life- my nest

And with that he stepped forward into his nest, which still had the tie, feathers and most importantly Castiels jacket in it. "I love you baby, so please, come in with me?"

All that flew out the window however, when he felt his lips on his neck. “F-fuck baby…” He met Inias’ eyes and saw the sincerity in them and his heart slammed in his chest. He loved him, he would forgive him, they could get through this…And Father knew he wanted to.

They had danced around this thing between them, for longer than either cared to admit. Even as fledglings, they had shy smiles, and waves for eachother. And then here, with him, and Cas told him no. Told him he wasn’t going to have another relationship, and he caved, he caved in, because it was Inias, and he had probably loved him longer than anyone had ever loved another. And he be dammed if he was letting go now that he had him.

“We can go where ever you want Inias.” Cas said kissing him softly. “Hell we can burn this whole house to the ground and start over if it will make you happy.” Cas said seriously. He really didn’t care much for it at all anymore himself, too many bad memories.

"You must have been an angel in your past life" Inias joked as he kissed Castiel back hard, biting down softly on his lower lip. He kisses trailed down his neck as he sucked a dark spot into Castiels neck, nipping it as he did so.

"I'll never push you away" Castiel said with a steely look in his eye "I can't think of anything that would hurt more in this universe than losing you". He didn't know himself how he'd managed to get Castiel, just luck and plenty of not-so-subtle-stares during the past millenia the pair had been alive.

"Can we get out of this room? There haven't been as many fond memories as I would have liked in this room the past few days"

He placed a hand on either cheek, and kissed him soundly. “Forever Inias, baby, forever.” He said. He kissed him hungrily. “I will never leave you….never.” Cas said nipping at his lower lip and then moving to kiss along his jaw. “Never.” He promised as he kissed his cheek. “Never.” He said kissing the other. “Never.” He kissed his mouth. 

He pulled back looking into his angel’s eyes with a rare look of seriousness. “I don’t know what I did to deserve you.” he said brushing a thumb across his cheek. 

“You will literally have to obliterate me from this earth for you to get rid of me Inias.” Cas said kissing him softly once more. “The only reason I’m leaving is if you push me away. I love you too much to let you go.”

He pulled him into a tight embrace kissing him on his neck, wanting to convey everything he was feeling, through his actions, because there were no words for how much he loved the man in front of him.
