WOW Marigold your children are beautiful. I wish your family nothing but the best of health, peace and prosperity. You and Juan will are wonderful parents and I hope to read about the lives of the twins. Please post pictures from time to time but please don't make it a priority I know how hard it is to raise little ones. Thanks for the first picture you have a wonderful family.

Hey Marigold, were there any fun times with your Uncle Zipacna? Any fun times when your a kid or now.

I had lots of fun with tío Zipacna, I still have. He’s very funny, though for some reason papá was reluctant to me alone with him for longer than an hour. I guess i should ask him about it sometime.

I must say, it was both the most painful but wonderful experience I’ve ever lived. This is the first picture we took as a family. Juan Carlos and I couldn’t be happier with our babies! 

Though i’m afraid that with my newfound motherhood, I might not be able to post as much as before. But I’ll do my best. At least I don’t have to worry about papá confiscating my lap anymore.

Hi Marigold. I was wondering if perhaps we could see a picture of Hugo? I feel bad for the boy but I know that xibalba was a wonderful father to you. I know he will be the best to Hugo.

Up to now, papá has been trying to avoid my little brother as much as he can. It’s not that he hates him, I can’t tell he doesn’t, but… For some reason he just can’t bring himself to even look at him. I wonder if it has to do with the… circumstances under which he was born. Mamá doesn’t care that my aunt tricked papá into conceiving him at all, she already loves Hugo like he were her own child.Hopefully, papá willl grow over it just like it happened with me.

Take a look at this, guys! I found some pictures from when I was a baby, and managed to put them here before papá confiscated my lap. AGAIN. Anyway, these are one of the most significant moments in my early life (i can’t really remember, but I’ll try to describe it)

1-. This was the first time papá held me, and... I can guess you know what happened.

2-. Papá said it was the first time he got into a bathtub with me, and I wailed every time my foot touched the water.

3-. I don’t think I’ll need to describe this one...

4-. Sincerely, I think I do remember these moments, when papi sang my favorite lullabies as he gave me the bottle...

5-. Tìo Zipacna says I look adorable in that costume, but I feel embarrasses by just looking at it... T-T

6-. That was my first birthday. Papá mentioned he tried to surprise me that morning, but he only freaked me out, and he compensated it with a large cake (for my standards, at least)

Hi Marigold, Can you show us a picture or your Aunt Amie. I know your father does not like her but I thought maybe you could show us one. I won't tell him I promise.

Here’s an old picture I found. I’m sorry i took so long in answering, I couldn’t find pictures of my aunt anywhere, papá wouldn’t tell me anything about her at all. In this picture papá was twelve, mamá was ten and tía aimé was five. 

Even in this picture, I can notice mi tía never liked how papá got along much better with mamá than her. Here they are making flower crowns, but tía aimé didn’t join them. I’ll see if I can find more pictures, though I doubt it.

Hi Marigold my name is Maria and I am 7 years old, I love reading your story's about you and your family. I am reading "what could have been"but chapter 24 worried me. I have a little brother named Ricky who is 5 and he and I are very close. He has bad dreams sometimes and I let him sleep with me we play a lot and we tell each other secrets,but when I turn 12 am I going to make him sad and like you did to Alastor. Am I going to make him cry. I don't want to hurt Ricky. I never want him to cry.

Aw, don’t worry about it. I felt the same when Mamá gave me ‘the talk’ and why I had to start doing certain things and stop others. At that stage she told me that i had to be careful with boys, but she also said that I shouldn’t stop being close to Alastor because I was becoming a young lady. She explained boys and girls mature in very different ways, and there are certain things boys wouldn’t understand about girls’s growth. 

Alastor and I had a few setbacks at first, but he in the end he understood why I just couldn’t play the same way with him anymore. The important thing when you have a little brother is to make him understand that you won’t stop loving him just because you’ll grow up. You can continue being best friends, just in a different way. 

Your mamá should talk to you about it when you’re old enough.

Xibalba and Alastor spending some quality time in the form of horse racing. Even though Alastor is less experienced than his father, he can keep up to him with no difficulty at all. Often they like to ride together since its one of the few hobbies they do have in common, but Alastor has the tendency to sometimes practice his archery on horseback instead of learning to fight with a sword, much to Xibalba's chagrin.

Look at this, everyone! Alastor sent a picture of their new daughter, Camellia. She’s such a cutie! It’s too bad Alastor moved to Europe when he and Feronia got married, we miss him very much. He promised they’d come to visit in a few weeks, when it was safe to travel abroad with Camellia. He says Feronia is a wonderful mother, though she is very possessive of her baby and she is always near the little one. Heck, to say he has trouble getting close to his own daughter; Feronia does let him approach, though I think I should warn papá beforehand before he receives a good trashing. 

I hope Cam and I will be blessed with a child soon.

It wasn't easy to raise a daughter on my own and having to rule a kingdom at the same time, but I held on...

I found another picture, guys! Papá said i was about two months old in this one, and I was a bit fussy at that age. To say he had to take me to his study because I often cried because I wanted him to play with me. He even said I once ruined the paperwork when I started to play with the inkwell and the quill. 

Hehe. I hope my children won’t be as naughty.

Here I am when we were working on the nursery! Well, actually only Juan and papá were working on the nursery, they didn’t let me lift a finger, they said I couldn’t work too much. Seriously? I’m not made of glass! 

Oh, well, they only want the best for me and the baby, anyway. I get the feeling she is going to be ‘they’, though.

Hi, guys!

You must be wondering why I haven’t caught up with you these days, but I must say, papá discovered I use the lap, and he was not very happy. He has limit my access to the internet since he has seen how there are perverted people who take advantage of it to abuse young girls. That, and someone leaked a photo of papá’s extended family. 

I admit, it looks interesting. I have never met them, I only know that they’re papá and tío Zipacna’s grandfather, uncles and aunts (only two aunts, actually). But they have never talked to me, mamá or Alastor about them, but I don’t understand why. Heck, not even the Candlemaker wants to tell me! He could only tell me that they’re... What did he say...? Drampires, and they’re dangerous creatures. Mamá has been thinking of contacting them, but she told me and Al to keep it a secret; she thinks papá and tío should make amends with them.
