Theme for Avacyn - Visible Spectrum

I wrote the shell of song a few weeks ago and didn’t really know what to do with it. Seeing the goings on with Shadows over Innistrad, I cleaned it up and redid it for a solo piano song for Avacyn.

Magic: the Gathering - The Return of Saint Traft

New Shadows Over Innistrad card ‘Invocation of Saint Traft‘ is a great nod to the original Geist of Saint Traft, one of our fav cards when it was in standard.

The card art from Igor Kieryluk rocks with both old and new.

Magic: the Gathering - Visit Sunny Innistrad

Incredibly lovely work from Cliff Childs (Fortified Village) and Noah Bradley (Port Town).  I will look to post the other card and card arts for the remaining ‘Show’ or ‘Reveal’ lands from Shadows Over Innistrad - namely Choked Estuary, Foreboding Ruins, and Game Trail.

In other news, I should think it a difficult endeavour for the Innistrad Tourism Board to hype some of these vacation properties.

Magic the Gathering - The Sound of Wings

Some Angel creatures so far with the new Shadows Over Innistrad set.  There are a LOT more angel card arts on non-creature spells.  It is rather clear to see just which angel is the ‘un-corrupted’ one here.

Magic: the Gathering - Shadows Over Innistrad TOKENS

Now loaded up on the motherisite.

Almost all the illustrations on the tokens, and the clue tokens shown above are pretty darn lovely - exceptional even, but DANG there are one or two which are not very well executed, even though the artists have done fantastic work before.  Perhaps it was a very tight deadline.  We have a good number of the cards which generate the tokens shown but will wait until the full reveal so we can do a proper article over on the MTG Realm blog.
