i hope you understand how deeply i need to know about scraps. what information do you have on her?

Okay, so, Scraps is a unique case in that she’s not technically an Aki. Rather, she’s from a universe where Night stole both twins and succeeded, leading Suna to create her instead using old blueprints she found! Originally she was just intended as a school project, but after she stepped in to try and stop Fire Man and somehow managed to succeed during the events of Throwing Shade, Suna asked Mini to help make her more equipped for combat behind Dr. Light’s back. Due to being created by a young girl, albeit a very mechanically skilled one, rather than a professional roboticist, she’s arguably the most “robotic” of all the Akis and prone to rather…strange mannerisms because of it. She also comes apart relatively easy, but it’s a quirk she uses to her advantage in combat. She also has a secret wish to gain her own autonomy and become as “real” as the other robots around her, as her ramshackle nature leads many to assume she lacks free will and gives her a sense of inferiority because of it.

She doesn’t have a design just yet, but if anyone’s interested in helping me make one for her, it’d be much appreciated! If it helps, she’s inspired by Robo-Fortune from Skullgirls.

Important Announcement

Hey everybody! It’s been a while, hasn’t it?

First off, I want to clarify I have not abandoned or cancelled this AU, it’s just that in between going to college, moving around a lot, and working on my own mental health I just sort of forgot about this blog. I still like Fully Charged and Mega Man as a whole, it’s just other responsibilities have had my full attention as of late.

I feel immensely guilty for starving you all of content and taking such long hiatuses, so I’ve been considering possibly turning this from an ask blog to a general AU blog, scrap the idea of introducing several Akis at a time in favor of introducing them all together, or possibly handing ownership of the AU to someone else of that doesn’t work out.

I’m really proud of this concept and I’d hate for it to go to waste, so please let me know your thoughts.

headcanon (not canon for my au, okay?):

Breaker is trans.

a girl born into a military family, it wasn't often that the women in the family had the interest or courage to join the military army, so, all around her, strong men, war winners, with their medals printed on the walls... but beyond admiration shone in the girl's eyes, belonging? comfort? her real gender..? I don't know.. (I'm not trans, so this part could be completely wrong, correct me if I'm wrong)

After his change from feminine to masculine, Breaker... never told to anyone about his transition, because.. for him, he is not trans, he was born a boy and will die a man.

My Blasto Woman Aki concept does enjoy stealing and is definitely pretty full of himself, and I really enjoy the concept of being a 50s greaser-type, but I actually like to envision him as more the cartoon mobster/New York tough guy type, like a combo of Scout from TF2 and a less sexual Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel (as he is only in middle school after all). Basically an obnoxious, selfish prankster who loves to mess with people as much as possible, but still a good kid deep down. I’m a really big fan of the jetpack and missiles concept and I do believe Blasto Woman has used missiles along with guns in the cartoon, plus his older brother deals in explosives and taught him everything he knows about them. Fun fact: I do actually have a concept for a 50s greaser-type AU Aki, but it’s for a mutual’s Robot Master OC rather than one of the canon ones.

My Chemistry Man Aki does have a bit of a mad scientist streak and absolutely has a lab coat (in fact, it was a gift from his dad), but rather than having him be cold and clinical I actually imagine him being more anxious and nervous due to his adoptive father being notorious for not showing much emotion unless he’s in a bad mood and thus he would always feel like it’s extra hard to make him happy and proud of him. He does have an insecure and competitive streak as well just like his adoptive father, and can be quite passive-aggressive and bitter when he wants to be, but tends to keep it bottled up most of the time unless pushed to his limits. I agree wholeheartedly on the chemical solutions idea, and I love the idea of his buster looking like a syringe or pipette, which I have actually seen on one of the aforementioned deleted design concepts.

Again, I want this to be an open concept, and I love hearing everyone’s ideas as to what they think the different Akis would be like! If you want to make your own takes on them, I not only fully allow it, but outright encourage you to get as creative as possible!

Your description of the Blasto Woman Aki is exactly what I had in mind for him! Same goes to the Chemistry Man Aki for the most part, though rather than him being monotonous I actually imagine him as being more anxious and nervous. Well, the people have spoken, and it looks like the Blasto Woman Aki really will get his mom rizzed up by Danny Devito’s three-inch-tall robotsona after all.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the poll for helping to make AU Aki history! And apologies to anyone out there who enjoys the AU Akis concept but hates Mega Mini, you’re always free to come up with your own take on the concept where he doesn’t exist as long as you credit me.

So, I’ve been thinking a bit regarding the lore of my Alternate Akis projects and I’ve come to a crossroads regarding a certain plot point.

You see, I’ve stated a few times previously that Mega Mini doesn’t exist in any of the AU Aki universes because of my headcanon that Dr. Light created him as a safeguard against potential thefts after Daini was stolen from him.

However, recently I stumbled on an AU concept where both Aki and Daini were stolen by Night, and it had still him existing and being built by Dr. Light, albeit to serve as a regular mechanic rather than as Aki’s mission control and just going by “Mini”.

I found myself being pretty interested in this idea, and while he’s a vital part of the OG show, he’s also a bit of a controversial character within both the Fully Charged fandom and the Mega Man fandom as a whole, and some have argued that his presence as a whole is pretty superfluous.

Since I’m still pretty torn about the decision, I’ve decided that the best course of action would be to let you guys put in your input and see whether Danny Devito’s robotsona gets Thanos snapped from existence or if he still gets to bang the Blasto Woman Aki’s mom! /lh

Truth be told, I’m also a fellow Mega Mini enjoyer (he’s basically a tiny robot version of Danny Devito, what’s not to love?), so I’ve always been a bit mixed about excluding him from the AU Akis universes. However, I’m mainly considering having Mega Mini still exist so that the Akis can have a parental figure they can confide in about their superhero life.

All of the Akis view Dr. Light as a mentor figure, but fear that he’ll try to put a stop to their heroic escapades and/or snitch on them to their parental figures, and the fact that he’s become more closed-off and overprotective of Suna due to losing both of his sons in a single night certainly doesn’t help matters. They trust Suna enough to tell her and she’s promised to keep their Mega Man/Woman identity a secret, but while she’s very mature for her age, she’s ultimately still a kid at the end of the day. With the exception of the Ice Man, Wood Man, and Skull Man Akis, none of the Akis want to tell their respective Robot Master about their Mega Man/Woman identity for obvious reasons and probably wouldn’t reveal the truth to them until their respective Robot Masters’ final spotlight episode or “The Gauntlet” (which will lead to loads of angst for situations like the Chemistry Man Aki’s version of “It’s Chemistry, Man!” and the Elec Man Aki’s version of “Change The Charge”). Even the exceptions aren’t immune to this, as while the Ice Man Aki would obviously tell his brother so that they can be heroes together, Ice Man is still a kid as well and a much less mature one than Suna at that, Wood Man isn’t exactly the most mentally stable at the moment (the best example being that depending on what I decide on, Wood Man believes his Aki has been killed or taken hostage and replaced by an identical imposter in order to lure him out of hiding or that his Aki has been brainwashed by the humans into siding with them in the Wood Man Aki’s version of “Enter The Wood Man”), and the Skull Man Aki doesn’t want to admit to him that she’s slowly developing a fondness for humans.

To me, Mega Mini has the perfect combination of trustworthy, easy-going, and mature to not only be trusted to keep their Mega Man/Woman persona a secret but also to go to get advice and/or repairs related to superhero-related malfunctions and injuries. Though admittedly, I’m still trying to figure how they can change to and from their default mode to their Mega mode without him in their head, so if anyone has any suggestions as to how that can work I’m all ears.

(Plus admittedly as I adore him, the Blasto Woman Aki is a chaotic little gremlin child and seeing him lose his mind over a three-inch tall robot rizzing up his mom is a hysterical mental image.)
