As someone with aspd this is absolutely hilarious

The thing is, until you get past the mindset of "justice=punishment" you will never be able to create lasting change. We have actual proof that punitive justice creates more crime and makes criminals more violent. We have actual proof that rehabilitation reduces crime and recidivism. But some of y'all are so stuck on this idea that the wrongdoer must be punished for justice to be done that you will choose sating your need for revenge over actually moving toward a better world every time. And that's sad!

People with NPD and their attraction to the disabled/mentally ill/physically ill

As someone who when I was physically unwell had to live in supported living (not assisted!), I will say for absolute certain narcissists will deliberately trigger those with any kind of illness, disability etc. They do this especially often to those who are physically unable to communicate to let people know this is happening. I have seen horrors, and was tortured by a narcissist who continually deliberately induced autism-meltdowns (which do not come easily to me) and filmed them to make me look crazy. I have brain damage from it now. I was not helped no matter who I told.

More awareness needs to be raised in regards to this. Malignant narcissists in particular are monsters, especially as from experience they flock to psychiatric hospitals to work there.

you'll never convince me that empathy's a real thing, what happens is you see a person in a bad situation and imagine being in their place so you put yourself in a bad mood too, you're not "absorbing or sharing their emotions" you're just making their bad situation about you and assuming they feel the same way as your imaginary self in your imaginary scenario, and you may get it right sometimes but without any guarantee exactly because there's no actual connection between the two emotional states

where is the love for people who are manipulative by nature and are trying their best to fight it? we tell cluster Bs all the time that they're not inherently manipulative or toxic but what about those of us who are? some of us are inclined towards being toxic or manipulative by nature. some of us lack essential social functions like empathy and compassion, and it's not because we're evil, it's because repeated trauma degraded our brain's ability to perform those functions. it can be a constant, exhausting battle to not want to be cruel, but to have to fight your very nature to avoid cruelty. i think that those of us who have to carry that burden deserve love.
