Here are the decora/flower headbands I tried out! All of them are on flexible plastic bases, and can fit 6-7 and 7-8 doll heads.

Hi! I had a baby doll just like that as a child. Is she for sell?
Which doll are you looking for? She might be. I just listed some for sale.

I've opened my Storenvy in order to sell off part of my doll collection. I was very upset when I heard American Girl was discontinuing Cecile & Marie-Grace so soon! So I'm selling off some of my doll collection in order to afford them. I've got my dolls listed at very good prices! Please help me fund the purchase of my new dolls! Visit my Storenvy at astoriaavenueapparel.storenvy.com!

Phylicia got new clothes from the thrift store! Again, if anyone has information on her kit or pattern let me know! I have no clue who this doll is.

Anyone familiar with this doll? My Noonie had a doll custom made to look like me when I was about a month old. I’ve never seen a doll like it before I saw this doll yesterday so I bought her. She has no markings and appears to be handmade like my doll was. But her paint style is a little bit different. She’s rather big. I’m not sure what size clothing fits her yet but she’s roughly the size of a one year old. Does anyone know if this was a popular kit or pattern in the 80s? Any info is appreciated.

Actually I have a theory. I have "sitting dolls" in my collection. They are dolls that the stringing is kinda loose in. My brand new dolls won't sit for more than an hour but they are kick ass standers. My older dolls (such as Dawn, my pre-Mattel Kirsten) sit like a dream and don't budge. I have about 5 good sitters right now. They don't stand very well, so I typically pose them sitting or balanced on a background. I think AG has dolls that are strung looser so they sit easily and they swap out the dolls for shoots. What I wouldn't give to do a photoshoot for them.

I’m thinking they must have dolls fitted w/wire armatures for the foto shoots, cuz I can’t imagine an AG doll sitting this way for very long.

I might have to try something like this on one of my dolls. I have a brunette "hair bow" clip already.

Dawn (pre-Mattel Kirsten) after some hair steaming and styling. Her hair was so fried I thought I was gonna have to rewig her. But it came out perfectly.

Meet Teagan & Edrie! I inherited my cousins TLC dolls (you can’t tell under clothes but they both have a lot of body & limb damage) over Christmas break. Dawn, Edrie’s older sister and Talan, Teagan’s younger brother were happy to welcome them home. They both got a good cleaning, hair steaming and some new outfits.

Thank you so much for the gift K.W./ continuesmilingwide! When I got home my sister had the package on the table, and as soon as I saw “…. & Dolls” I knew it was from you. I thought you had forgotten since we hadn’t talked since the last time you messaged me. The glasses are super cute, I love them and so do the dolls! Cecile is actually wearing the pink glasses right now. I loved the zebra packaging too! I didn’t want to ruin it so I just took the tape off one of the sides. Thanks so much! :)
