I experienced trauma at birth. I became numb. I didn't feel like my baby was my own. I cried to the doctors. Something was wrong. We were separated at birth and there was some sort of disconnect, I cried, my body doesn't understand she is mine.
Post natal depression, they said it was, despite my cries that it was not.
But the reality was, I discovered- after four years of battling the mind and more, I had lost parts of me. The person who carried her. All the people who would have made up my child's mother, not dormant, but gone. Fled.
All these years. Lost.
I was a system, and didn't even know.

Covert systems remain unseen.
This is a trouble, as it is often only when a person comes into the acceptance of what is happening to them, that they become overt enough to be seen. To be heard. To be helped.

If DID was known, if DID was truly seen, our littles would be safe from environments we condone under labels like 'kinks'.

When societal norms surrounding parenting for many centuries past, and those to sadly follow, inflict trauma on a child, is it a wonder why our society is unknowingly filled with fragmented, multi-conscious minds?
Short of attachment/gentle parenting, how does one raise a child without inflicting trauma?

I perceive enlightenment/awakening as breaking down the barriers between the conscious and unconscious mind.
The amnesic walls one with DID knows so well, separating us from the memory of who we truly are.
