Actually yeah what if Wade gives Logan guns for him to use later. Like on his clothes Logan just carries guns around and Wade takes em out mid fight and it kinda drives Logan crazy (in a good way)

Like just him fighting, Wade randomly comes to him, gets super close, takes a gun out of his belt and goes away like nothing while Logan is left having a system update at 1%

i myself am a person who will throw around dude/bro/man like i'm trying to bring surf back in style, but sometimes when i see people vehemently arguing that these terms are entirely gender neutral i do wanna gently take their hand like. okay but have you considered the societal and histortical reasons why masculine language and gender neutral language have so much overlap. can we acknoweldge how traditionally masculine terms are treated as a default and what that means. or are you gonna be weird about it.

I LOVE Wade having nightmares bc it’s just really reconfirms the best part of this ship: they’re both fucked up together and somehow, they make each other better.

Like they both are killers, they both were hurt by people and ashamed of it, they both loved and lost, they both feel like monsters. They’re like the perfect material for best friends and instead of them clashing over their similarities, they work together and fight well together and somehow encourage each other to be better heroes even if it’s a messy way of encouraging.

And Wade also having nightmares (and also having the first nightmare) works so well bc it shows Logan that he’s not alone in this fucked up life and they can’t hurt each other like they’ve always been afraid to hurt other people.

Logan’s nightmares this, Logan’s nightmares that. Well I say Wade has the first nightmare. It’s four days after they save the world (but their third sleep because that first sleep was about 20 hours straight) and Wade wakes up straddling Logan’s waist, one baby knife in Logan’s shoulder and the other held up to his throat. Of course Wade is DISTRAUGHT because 1-the nightmare was god awful and he’s still panicky from it and 2- he just stabbed Logan, the guy who was weary of sharing a bed at all and who has been surprisingly unstabby towards Wade since he moved in.

Wade is so worked up that he doesn’t even register that Logan’s got both hands on his thighs, that he’s siting directly in Logan’s lap. He flings the knife onto the floor, ignoring the fact that he hears it imbedding into the floorboard, and he’s staring at the other one in Logan’s shoulder, tongue tied on how to apologize. Except, surprisingly, Logan is the one to break the silence

“Hey, it was just a dream. You’re safe.” He says, rubbing his thumbs in soothing circles over Wade’s thighs (a motion Wade still doesn’t register until about a month later when he’s starting to realize Logan might actually be into him)

And Wade’s shaking, full body, gasping breath, eyes prickling because this is absolutely humiliating for him to be doing in front of the fucking Wolverine of all people. So Logan just rips the knife out of his own shoulder, tosses it to the side and pulls himself up to hug Wade.

“I got you, Wade.” He murmurs, rubbing at Wade’s back and holding him tightly. They stay like that for a long time before Wade is steady enough to realize this is probably totally uncomfortable for Logan (spoiler alert it isn’t) and says he won’t be able to go back to sleep, but the sun is starting to rise and he’ll totally make them both some pancakes. Logan seems almost reluctant to let him go, which Wade thinks is crazy (because he’s a self deprecating fool)

And they eat breakfast in silence together and go out for coffee after.

I like to have movie Deadpool lightly make fun of Ryan Reynolds’s in the fics I write. Because as much as Ryan Reynolds’s ‘plays himself’ a lot, Deadpool is his own character and has a different backstory, beliefs, sexuality, and character than his actor, even if they have the same humor.

A lot of yall need to be reminded that it's alright to not like Ryan Reynolds but you can't pretend that he was a bad deadpool, you're lying both to us and to yourself. No man could've played a better deadpool, and I mean it. He brought the character to life in a perfect way.

I’ve banned myself from starting new wips until my multi chapter fic is done, but I occasionally think about a poolverine au where Wade’s scars look more like the comics or like @ smoky-moka’s design of Deadpool.

Where Deadpool’s face is falling apart and his teeth are exposed and his eyes are yellow. During the whole d&w movie, Wade never takes his mask off. Even when they eat, Wade manages to eat quickly when Logan is smashing around looking for alcohol and Logan doesn’t see it. He never makes a joke about the wig bc maybe Wade never attempted to make his face better because he thinks it’s a lost cause. Wade knows he cant wear the mask forever around Logan, but he also knows what Logan will say. He’s just keeping some of the ammo Logan has against him to himself. Sleeping in the mask is normal at this point and there’s no reason for him to take it off.

And then they save the world together. Wade offers shawarma and holds his food in his hand, not eating, and Logan thinks it’s weird, sure, but he’s not gonna say anything. And Wade does ask him to say and Logan does turn back, like normal but Wade immediately regrets it because now he has to live with Logan and the guy hasn’t even seen his face. Logan asks “you live in that thing or what?” When Wade wakes up with the mask still on and Wade just chirps “yup!”

Naturally Wade tries to keep it in for as long as possible around him and turns away whenever he eats or takes his meals somewhere else.

Logan is really fucking confused. He thought the mask was annoying at first and now he’s wondering if it’s glued to the guy.

But Wade can’t always wear the suit and he likes short sleeves and shorts in his own home but he’ll throw in a hoodie if it’s not too hot. His hands are still scarred but at t least he’s sparing Logan the gruesome sight of his face. And Logan mentions it but Wade’s stubborn and keeps it on.

It gets to a point where Wade is clearly uncomfortable in the mask but refuses to just exist without it as long as Logan is around and during a fight he finally explains why he’s keeping his mask on.

And when Wade finally takes it off, Logan just happy to finally look him in the eyes and read a facial expression, scars and decaying face regardless.

It would be fun to write a short one shot from Logan perspective (and alittle bit of Wade’s). To have Logan never have seen Wade’s face until he’s living with him and falling in love with him and then the reveal is much more shocking
