Dream looked out over the field. At the gently swaying grass and flowers. He leaned back on his hands, tilting his head to look up at the sky. A soft blue. A perfect day. His cape fluttered in the soft breeze. The guardian let his sockets shut for just a moment while he took in the feeling of the sun on his bones.But it was hard to be peaceful when his soul pounded so hard it felt like it was going to leap out of his chest. It was hard to think about anything other than him. How he smiled, the twinkle in his eyes, the shape of his bones..Whenever he fought with them, it brought a jolt of joy to Dream. Seeing him in action was something else. The way he moved was like a dancer- every step and action planned out to perfection. And that smile! Whenever he looked back at Dream, he smiled. God.Dream sighed. He’d fallen hard for Cross, he couldn’t deny it.He laid back on the grass. He couldn’t help the smile that came over his face. He would have to keep it a secret from Cross. He would have to keep it a secret from everyone. He couldn’t risk Cross getting hurt.But..here, in private? He could think anything he wanted to.And what he was thinking right now, was that he was in love.

"It's uh, really nice out, huh?" Cross stated, immediately wanting to roll off the hill they were both sitting on and die. Had he seriously just said that? He glanced over to Dream, who was leaning back on his hands and watching the clouds pass by.

The wind caused his small cape to flutter slightly. Dream looked over to Cross, a soft smile on his face. "It is." He looked back to the clouds. "But you know, in all the time I've been alive, Cross, there's only one thing that shines even brighter than the sun on days like these."

Cross blinked, slightly taken aback. "Ah-? What..would that be?"

"You!" Dream spoke with a soft laugh that seemed to reverberate through the air. Cross felt his cheekbones flushing purple, and he rubbed the back of his neck. Being a nice warm day, he'd placed his jacket aside and was just in his black undershirt, making his neck feel exposed and flushed.

Dream only giggled a little at his reaction, leaning towards him to rest his head on Cross's shoulder. "I've been waiting a while to use that one," He admitted.

"You've uh..been waiting a while to..flirt with me?" Cross clarified. His attention was no longer on the shining sun, but the bright star laying his head on Cross's shoulder. Despite being a skeleton, Dream was warm, in a way most skeleton monsters just weren't.

"Mhm." Dream affirmed with a pleased sigh. "And if it grants me the pleasure of seeing you all flustered, I'll gladly keep doing it."

Cross rubbed at the burning feeling on his cheekbones. He knew it was pointless- Dream could sense what he was feeling, but he still felt the need to do it. "You..light up my life, Dream, you really do."

Dream gave a soft smile at that. "I'm..glad. I..I hope I can keep doing that for you, Cross."

"I hope so too." Cross murmured, wrapping one arm around Dreams waist and carefully pulling the guardian a little closer.

Me and my friend plexiglass (https://www.tumblr.com/weirdplexbutok)have an ongoing Undertale alternative multiverse, I guess? Filled with heavily modified cannon characters and many many OCS!!! And I'm gonna post about it because I love it so much

Reaper: God of death (duh)

Geno: God of determination (or sometimes just a mortal)

Dream: God of positivity

Nightmare: God of negativity

Swap: Messager of the gods (for Nightmare) (sometimes just a mortal, depends on RP)

Carrot: Messenger of the gods (for Dream) (sometimes just a mortal, depends on RP)

Classic: Messager of the gods (For Love) (sometimes just a mortal, depends on RP)

Love is...the god of love (yes I'm very creative with names shut up) made by me

Hate is.. well currently he's Reapers protector, sealed within him. He only comes out when shit hits the fan and Reaper needs more power.

Animosity is the opposing force to Love. God of hatred and Animosity by Plexiglass

Tetrachrome is the god of the past, made by me.

Monochrome is the god of the future, made by Plexiglass. I might post designs in the future. Idk.
