my team is finally getting started for this season which means that i have to do all of the game analysis

vex is looking really interesting this year, i think we’re gonna see some creative building strategies. hopefully it’ll be less uniform than high stakes where everyone was a lady brown

i didn’t get a single one of the internships i applied for this summer. even the small, local ones. i didn’t end up getting to take community college classes, i still haven’t found a job, and i haven’t gotten swole.

even still, i haven’t wasted my summer -

i’ve gotten to relax, go climbing, sleep a little later, play animal crossing, organize my room, thrift, experiment with my fashion, and make art.

you’re summer isn’t wasted unless you let it be wasted. there’s still time to make it worthwhile.

Shout out to all my fellow gardeners who have a sloped yard, no heavy machinery, a limited budget, a job that takes up all your time, pets that can’t be trusted, children too curious for their own good, health issues that prevent you from getting out as much as you’d like, soil that seems to have been hit by a nuclear bomb, or any other common gardening problem. Remember, it’s the job of influencers to be constantly creating new garden projects, don’t let it make you feel insecure. i’ve applied for 11 NASA internships along with 5 other internships this summer. this is all because i put my mind to it, all because i built the habits that i needed to get to this point, all because i set goals, and all because i want to live a life that i love.

don’t let fear hold you back. apply for that internship, and if you don’t get it, reapply next year. talk to that person. do that thing you’ve always wanted to do. you won’t get it if you don’t try.
