I just realized that this is the same duo who made the remix of Ms. Jackson that I was listening to on repeat. Go figure. It all makes sense now.

I like the little sentiments in this song - it’s a glimpse into the internal dialogue of someone wondering how things will go.

This song is getting a lot of hype from the Apple airpods commercials. And I don’t blame everyone who’s now obsessed with this song - sent me back on a Marian Hill binge, it’s been a while since I listened to them. Always happy to see artists make new music and get some well-deserved attention.

Waves of beautiful sound and emotion. Funny, this song was released a few years ago, but the vibe and sound still feel exciting and new.

Amidst the whirlwind of this crazy election, I find comfort in this beautiful song. Half of America may be distraught by the outcome, but we should remember that it takes our continued love for each other - and ourselves - to do good and work towards a better America for everyone. I hope that we can say the same to America - we’re never going to just leave you, we’ll work to understand everyone and what we can do to help everyone.

Oof, that drop. Haunting bridge leading into that drop.

Very into this. It’s another one of those tracks where the opening riff melody and sound captured me immediately. I love how it’s an upbeat, defiant track, but the vibe has a tinge of melancholy - accentuated by the lyric, “But I’m not ready to forget.” The whole EP, New Laces, is certainly worth listening to.

This popped up on my new releases playlist and sent me on a trip down memory lane, even though I had never heard this song before. It evoked some kind of gentle sadness, though it was kind of a peaceful moment too.

Oh goodness, yes. I know I posted a Chace song not long ago, but you kind of have to check out his latest release - a collab with Moksi. I love that Chace sings his own vocals; it’s refreshing to see. Looking forward to seeing this guy grow and continue to make music.

Slow, steady, beautiful. Deep grooves happening, decorated with that little riff and what sounds like closed guitar strumming. As with all the songs I’m obsessed with, the vocalist’s performance is chillingly wonderful.

This is an addictive beat. Whatever those little decorative bouncy synths are doing, keep doing it. So... Do you prance around to this song, or lay back and close your eyes?

Mmm... It’s like an ambient folksy plucky future house-y mélange. The vocals sound filtered; there’s this muffled effect which kind of makes the main repeated words a little more haunting. “Why do you always win?”
