Ok just finished ep 8 of quiet part loud but I have to talk about this:

I am so happy that Rick is never a "redeemable" character. Hes always a shithole. Always. Does he talk about regretting some choices? Yes. Does he try to make up for some things? In a way I guess but like not really. Theres some moments where he's sympathetic to Noor but then he turns around and acts like an ass to his own kid.

This man is utter garbage I hate him. But it makes the series so good to watch him get tormented and deal with this shit.

One thing I love about What Happened in Skinner is how thoroughly they built up the mythology of the world. All the little details of the folklore and ghost stories of Skinner wind up having their origin in the actual history of the island and the cult/religion.

I just binged this podcast and I'm so invested now! It's a true crime style fiction podcast that gets into secretive cult-y religion, charming villains, big important philosophical debates, disappearances and murders, maybe mermaids, and the ethics of sharing things about your friends on the internet.
