Some women bully other women, so we should avoid all women.
Some hair gets nits, so everyone should shave their heads.
If that shitty “some snakes are venomous so just avoid all of them to be safe” argument works for you to justify your “kill all men” posts, why doesn’t it justify racists who say “well some latinos are illegal immigrants so I avoid all of them” or people who say “well some people from this...

#NotAllWomen
I remember #YesAllWomen. I have a big problem with sweeping generalisations, with being told I am one thing, or that I have to feel a certain way. I am all for solidarity but we are all individuals with individual experiences. I remember #NotAllMen - a hashtag which I understood to be men reacting to the notion that they are all dangerous.
Both of these hashtags dealt with the idea that all men are dangerous and all women are victims of this threat.
I do not think we should demonise all men. Men are better than that. I do not think we should victimise all women. Women are stronger than that. Try not make generalisations or stereotypes. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
I do believe that #notallmen are dangerous. That they do not all pose a threat. That they do not all wish to overpower women so that they can control us and do as they want with us.
#NotAllWomen feel as though they are constantly in danger. Not all women are victims.
Rape and violence towards women (perpetrated by both genders) is a tragic reality that we live with. My heart goes out to the women who are victims, I wish them strength to recover and move on, to find their happiness.
But I am not a victim and I will not live my life in fear. To quote Fran from Strictly Ballroom who was quoting an old Spanish proverb....

Respect
To be honest, I’ve never seen an anti-feminist female who disregards what first and second generation feminists gave her. Instead, they disagree with some of the philosophies and hypocrisy third wave feminism has given us. (At the same time keep in mind not everyone who fought for women’s rights...

I don't hate anyone until they give me a reason. How someone is born is not a good enough reason to hate them. Generalisations and stereotypes only make the person doing the generalising and stereotyping look bad.

Everyone has shit to deal with in their life. It's your choice whether you sit and whine or stand up and turn the shit into sunshine. And here's a tip: most people are rooting for you to get the sunshine, not the shit.

I love my son no matter what. Hate the sin love the sinner.
Reblog if you are a Christian, Catholic, or anyone of faith, and you would support your child’s sexuality even if it differed from what your religion said was “right.”
