Ah, that's why my fyp has been mainly a bunch of Michael designs. 🤣

Michael now has a golden flower crown! It's something i've started to give all of my seraph designs (even the demoted one, Simeon). It's essantially a status symbol, usually worn only by the seraphim and high-ranking goverment officials. The flower depicted on the crown is a lily. Lilies commonly represent death, grief, purity and modesty. I chose it because of that symbolism- Michael's lost plenty of people, cried for their loss, and then put on the face of father's holiest angel. The exemplary angel. The Celestial Realm's golden child. But flowers are quite eye-catching. They're big and colourful, and are beloved by people of all species. Michael's mourning a traitor. Lucifer, who in rebelling against his Father sinned both against Him and his own kin. He needs to be discreet. A crown of lily buds, shut tight, lest their petals expose the bearer's feelings. A crown of hidden mourning.

Michael's hair is magical now! It's inspired by Luna's mane. It starts as normal hair, and becomes flowy and shiny as it goes down.

The wings are bigger than they are on Lucifer's in-game angelic outfit, mostly to make them more belivable. The size of canon wings is, quite frankly, pathetically small. Those aren't flying anyone anywhere lol

The inside of the robe became darker, and i added some stars and constelations to it. (Because of his intrest in astronomy) His nail polish (usually royal blue) turns white. The sash became longer, got a pattern, and floats now.

This is referenced from the movie/play Love Never Dies. I started listening to the soundtrack while thinking of Simbatos, so I had to make an angsty art. 🥀

Outfit design for a SimBatos 'Love Never Dies AU' art I made. The outfit was inspired partially by the movie/play Love Never Dies, but the main inspiration was a wedding dove, because I use wedding dove symbolism for Simeon. 🕊️

The sketch is old and I sucked at drawing hands, but it's a design sketch, so 🤷‍♀️🤣.

The earring sketch was meant to say 'Barbatos's birthstone gem,' but it's also from an outfit I designed for an Angel Barbatos AU, which I'll probably post at a later date. The earrings were a gift from Barbatos. 🥰

If Michael ever does get an actual sprite or design (to my knowledge he doesnt, if there's any canon material about what he looks like, I'd be happy to know anyways),

I hope he has the biggest boob window known to Angel Kind.

I mean like. Simeon got the Hip Windows. Raphael got his abs out. It's obvious that angels don't mind showing some skin. (Luke being the exception since. Yknow, he's a child, of course, he's perfectly dressed the way he is.)

this has been, by far, the closest battle ever! simeon won with 50.1% of the votes, versus Barbatos' 49.9%. just by point two percent, simeon came out on top! congrats to the bestest wife 🩵

....and because the race was so close, i ended up making a special bonus! <3

they are to be wed by sundown. love wins and they both shall be the best wives together. happy pride!

so like. i do......? Thing is, i am shockingly bad at interacting with media, so there's only a couple of voice actors i know

I imagine Michael to have a lot of range - he is a cold, fearsome general, and the charming, albeit formal, face of the seraphim council, and an energetic, childish, caring mischevious little shit <3 older brother - and i want his voice to reflect that.

BUT. I did find a voice i like! Junichi Suwabe, who i'm picking mostly for his performance as Victor Nikiforov ᓚ₍⑅^..^₎

My favorite thing about Obey Me! is Mike, because he just sounds like a kinda serious but 99.7% silly lil guy. 🙂

I think Luke is canonically envy. Either way, I like the idea that Michael got so envious of Lucifer's brothers for snatching him away that he just popped out a child, and that's what I'm going with.

only conspiracy theory i'm ever subscribing to is Luke is Michael's emotion baby
