Hey all! This is gonna sound a bit petty but that's because I'm being petty.
I recently posted a piece of my art, in the replies someone asked me if I do commissions, I said yes. So we talked over DMs. We agreed that I would draw their sons dog for them. My original price was $15 dollars but they offered $100 instead. I told them the $15 offer would remain on the table. A day and a half later I finish the art and tell them I finished. I told them I would need the payment first then I would send them the art. They then ghosted me for a day and promptly blocked me.
I'm pretty sure they were trying to scam the art out of me without paying because they thought I would send the art first.
Or who knows, maybe I'm just anxious and they just didn't want to use cashapp and couldn't give half a shit to tell me and hid behind a big ol block button instead
And I know for a fact they blocked me because I can't see their blog, I can't send messages anymore and their replies on my post are hidden. But I had a friend search up their blog on their account and sure enough it's still there
Here's the proof of our convos just in case. And I'm leaving their tag uncovered because I'm supremely petty and also want any fellow artists to know what user to be wary of
