Notes About Touya Reveal Leaks

He does say verbatim “[because] my good name is touya”

Within this picture there are certain lines and words like:

“didn’t die in Kyushu” (could be either referring to Endeavor not dying in Kyushu to High End or to Touya’s death having to do something with Kyushu

The word for ‘Frozen’

Mentions Star Servant and Ending (the villains in the Internship Arc)

The panel with his face reveal says: “even if my face is like this, i’d thought family would recognize me”

This panel says  “I, Todoroki Touya, am the eldest son born into Endeavor’s family”

“As of now, I have killed around 30 or more innocent people .”

Additionally, he’s using the pronoun boku in the video, not the ore he tends to. Boku is more mild, more respectful. 

He adds that  “I want everyone to know why I came to do such filthy deeds.” using a phrase ‘shuue na shokyou”

upon Dabi’s entrance to the battle, Endeavor calls him Dabi.

Dabi’s response is “Don’t call me that,” But in a coy manner, like, “Aww come on don’t call me that”

This image translated is “ “What goes around comes around! Come, fall with me, Todoroki Enji! Come over here and DANCE with me!”

The first part can be translated as “suffer the consequences [of your actions]

The ‘’Let’s Fall’ line is ochiyou;  落ちよう. The kanji in that phrase is ochi.   The kanji refers to jokes and punchlines; something dropping, in essence the end, the fall, the finale of a joke  

This is not the first time Dabi has told heroes to “Fall’ as he said so during the Forest Training Arc when setting fire to the Forest. It’s clearly a term he likes.

While we’re still far from getting the full story, I hope this look at what Dabi’s saying and how he’s saying it informs you!

okay but this is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. I didn’t want some last second on the verge of death reveal, or some half hearted, crying, angry touya. I wanted this:

Dancing around as he laughs in their faces despite the fact he’s incredibly injured... full of energy and glee at the fact he gets to show the world exactly the type of “hero” endeavor is, the type of person who breaks his son to the point of “death” and then rebirth into a villain. This completely tarnishes endeavor’s redemption (which was already shitty to begin with).

This is what Dabi’s been waiting for. He’s built EVERYTHING up to get HERE. It’s why he’s been so excited and distracted these past couple chapters—this is his goal reaching its peak.

He’s going to help bring hero society down, but he’s taking endeavor down first.
