Boy, I have been gone a super long time. I don't remember if I've said anything regarding my absence, but I've been recovering from a car accident that happened way back in July. I still have permanent injuries that probably aren't going to heal but I'm back and safe and okay as I'll get, in all honesty.

My apologies for the long hiatus shortly after joining the fandom. I was in a bad situation where I might end up homeless. Things are looking better, and I'll know something definite in the coming week. I'll be spotty until after July. Sorry for phasing out of existence.

He has a scar from a tough battle on the left side of his face.

He is skittish towards most humans and has to gain their trust before coming out of his fearful nature.

He is protective over those he is close to and cares about.

He can throw his weight around and be destructive when he wants, but enjoys peace more.

He loves arctic weather and often sits in snow/hail as it feels regenerative on the cracks in his body.

After you get to know him, you can find that he is quite kind despite how intimidating he looks.

He can be quite philosophical, as he has seen a lot as a Pokemon who once belonged to a human in the battle scene.

He's that wise, pillar friend and often gives advice when he feels it should be given.

His trauma can be evident at times, despite his dodgy nature about it.

He'll let you ride on his back if you're tired, and he can swim you across rivers/lakes if need there be.

He enjoys hanging around Bergmites and giving them rides on his back, as he finds them all endearing.

He is afraid to get close, because having attachment is what got him abandoned and hurt in the first place.

Despite his nature turning from lonely to stoic, he still finds emptiness in his time alone.

He wants happiness, but is afraid to take the risk of getting it because that would require him bonding with someone.

He's closer to wild Pokemon than he is to humans, but even so, he fears the day that they will get captured and change their views on humans as well.

Deep down inside, he'd like a kind trainer, like those he had seen along his journeys. As much as he fears humans, he finds himself contemplating the 'what if's in life' but he also has conflicting thoughts of not being good enough for them either. Either because he doesn't have the attitude they want, the move set they want, or the size/stats they want.

He wants to be loved, but is afraid of it - whether it's being loved by a trainer and having the validation he longed for so long, or just being someone's best friend and traveling companion.

SHOULD YOU FIGHT AVALUGG?

PROS

* Avalugg is an Ice type. He's got four weaknesses.

* He is large, so he's a big target. He's got a lot of surface area to hit.

* He is flat on top. If you can flip something over a thousand pounds on it's back, I'm pretty sure Avalugg is screwed.

* Avalugg as a species have a docile nature. More than likely he'll try to walk away instead of actually fighting you.

* He is slow, so you could hit him fairly easily.

* Not likely to hide from you, mostly because he can't. He's not even good at making a getaway if he wanted.

CONS

* Avalugg is an absolute tank. He can take a lot of punishment. * He uses his body to bust up mountains like a battering ram. It's not going to feel good when he hits you.

* His body is harder than steel. Good luck chipping away at it.

* He has high stamina

* He can snap rocks in his jaws like they are nothing. * Have fun being buried in an avalanche, because that's basically his main move. He can also heal in hail. CONCLUSION

With the right counter, you can beat him. Even if he is a tank, you can gradually wear him down. His mono Ice typing can definitely work against him.
