hastodosomething:

Sometimes, around the full moon, Scott can sense other supernatural creatures lingering nearby. He doesn’t often go looking for them, though, considering not everyone wanted to be found. This full moon, however,  there’s something more…powerful, and compelling, out in the woods,  and he can’t exactly ignore it anymore. So he’s out, roaming the Preserve, eyes glowing as he attempts to pick up any kind of power signature or  scent from – well, whoever it is.

That snarl could be heard through the trees and he returns his own growl, so she’d hear exactly who she’s dealing with – in a sense. Scott doesn’t hide, and all at once bounds over a a boulder, landing before her. Eyes  are still glowing that bright red.

The responding growl resonates through her senses, the wolf stone’s light pulsing once in response to an alpha’s power. She holds her ground, even when he suddenly jumps into her space and she sees the glowing red. For a moment, it knocks her resolution back.

Ordinarily, she’d question him, but the moon makes her reckless. This is her place, her run. Status and power mean nothing to the lone wolf used to fending for herself. “Get out!” Even she isn’t sure if she’s speaking with her voice, or magic. But her stance shifts lower, ready for some kind of fight.
