LUXE FOR LESS LOWDOWN

If anyone knows me well, they’d know that I love my accessories! It’s an area where I carefully splurge and invest my money in because i know they’re key pieces in my wardrobe that will defeat apparel in usage. My draw full of sunglasses (and car glove box) has a range of brands and styles to suit my moods and outfits. From brands like Ray-ban, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace and Balmain, I know the quality, design and craftsmanship of these brands are fantastic and unbeatable. In stating that, sunglasses are items that become quickly lost and damaged no matter how much they cost. This lead me to collecting no brand named sunglasses that I could take out and not worry about them. I brought these three sunglasses off the aliexpress.com website and it took two weeks to receive them by post(from China to Australia). Black cat eye sunglasses $4.81, Black and gold round metal frame sunglasses $3.84 and Black and tortoise shell oversized sunglasses $3.88. That is the definition of LUXE FOR LESS. Through this post, I want to show people that fashion is affordable and you don’t need to compromise or skimp on high-end labels to get the style you want. Introductions

If you asked me five years ago where I wanted to be right now, it would’ve been along the lines of an aspiring fashion designer or illustrator or even fashion editor. Fast forward to 2018 and the game has completely changed. Don’t get me wrong, I still love all things fashion and what the industry entails, but now I know my career path has changed and that I thank for the life lessons. I still hold design very close to my heart and it will always be apart of who I am, almost like a sense of identity. I decided to create this blog Average Jo, to use it as a platform to inspire and influence other like-minded people by showcasing and representing style at all levels of fashion, despite the price tag. Integrity- the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles- is a word I hold close to my heart through all aspects of life and especially in identity through fashion and style. I hope this is the beginning of a great relationship where I can inform, appreciate, exploit, enjoy, empathise, question, listen, inspire, vent and educate other like-minded individuals, all prone to the same fashion industry.
