Long time, no tumblr!

I fell away from tumblr and have posted very little in the way of anything, but just thought I’d update anyone who cared. 

This is Steve! We’ve been dating since March and celebrated our first Christmas together. He’s been the highlight of 2016 for me and made a shitty year much less so. 

That’s all. I just wanted to brag about him because he’s my favorite and I love him. 

Now I will go back into tumblr silence for the next two years or whatever.

A painter in Los Angeles kept missing his exit for the I-5 on the 110 highway, so he did his research, climbed up the overhead sign, and changed it himself without anyone noticing.

This is Richard Ankrom. He couldn’t find his damn exit, cuz it wasn’t properly labelled.  

So he took life by the balls, like any self-respecting Californian would do, and used his sign-painting expertise to fix it himself.

He called it ‘guerilla public service.’ Even got himself an outfit to look official. It worked, obvi.

Caltrans investigated, but the sign was actually up to code. They left it there for 8 years before they made an updated sign.

So I have a theory/headcanon that Jaime and Cersei are actually the children of Joanna and Aerys.

My reasons:

It’s clear that the madness is a genetic trait since it appeared regularly among Targaryens, who were known for incest.

Aerys was known to have a level of fondness for Joanna, and as the wife of his Hand she was around him a lot

It explains Joffrey

There is evidence that achondroplasia is a mutation that appears in older fathers which then has a 50% chance to be passed onto their children. While it’s possible Jaime and Cersei could also have been dwarves if they were Tywin’s, the fact they aren’t fits with Aerys being their real father 

There is a certain poetic justice to the hated “Imp” being Tywin’s only trueborn child, and even moreseo the fact it was Tywin himself who passed him the gene.

How hilarious would it have been if poor Ned Stark had lived long enough to try and work that one out…

Footnotes:

 The status of Rhaegar’s sanity is unknown. I’m put him as normal here, but in terms of both story and genetics he could potentially be or not.

Cersei is a difficult one. She also displays signs of madness but it’s impossible for her to be officially so unless Joanna also possessed the mutation, and I can’t see any evidence or where she’d have got it from unless it occurred spontaneously.

Yes, you read it right! Galavant is coming to Netflix. They will be streaming season 1 & 2 starting on September 7th!

According to Karen David, aka Princess Isabella, if enough people get interested, etc, Netflix may want more from them. Like season 3 or a movie!

I personally do not have Netflix, so I am unsure how the whole thing works, so, if you’re in the same boat as me…
