guess who finished his drawing class final literally the night before our final critique! the assignment was to do at least four drawings, mixed media, and they all had to be black and white and use the same process. for these i used india ink washes of varying intensity to lay in the sort of base value areas, then used pigment liners, a charcoal pencil, a white chalk pastel, and white gouache for the details. they're all on 9x9 pieces of paper, and i taped the edges to have an 8x8 working area (and i cropped the photos down a bit more because the pictures were a little crooked lol). i dunno if they're the best pieces of art i've ever done, but i'm pretty pleased with how they came out! now i just gotta get through the critique lol

studio classes have been kicking my ass this term so i haven't had a lot of time to make art for myself, but! i have some stuff from my ceramics class i'm excited to share!

these little guys have been bisque fired and painted with underglaze - the jackalope should come out a fair bit darker than it looks right now, but the foxes are pretty spot-on for color!

this mug is still waiting to be bisque fired, and once it is the grey-brown color should (hopefully) turn a kind of purple-blue - i mixed two engobes together, which can have unpredictable effects, so fingers crossed lol. i got the idea for the technique from @claypigeonpottery - i've always loved jackalopes and auroras both, and was really inspired by some of their pieces!

These are quick and easy, and I've made the ones below for folks in the past (so please don't use them yourself!) - prices start at $10 for a really simple Pokemon (like Ditto or Charmander) and would range up to $25-30 for a really complex Pokemon (like Eternatus or Celesteela). You can add a second Pokemon for $5-$20 depending on the Pokemon (basically, a $5 discount on the second 'mon), and I just need 2-3 colors for the gradient!

Standard Commissions

Your character, drawn by me! I'm willing to do furries/anthro, fanart, OCs, (some) NSFW and most other things tbh - mechs and (mild) gore I am willing to attempt, but don't have much experience with. A second character can be added at a 20% discount, and complex poses may come with an upcharge at my discretion. Base prices:

Bust: $15 line drawing | $25 single-color drawing | $40 full-color drawing

Half-body: $20 line drawing | $30 single-color drawing | $45 full-color drawing

3/4-body: $25 line drawing | $35 single-color drawing | $50 full-color drawing

Full-body: $35 line drawing | $45 single-color drawing | $60 full-color drawing

Single-color/monochrome and full-color both come with simple shading, and two-character monochrome drawings can have a different color for each character. Backgrounds can be added starting at $10 for something simple (e.g. a city skyline, a night sky) and going up from there depending on complexity. Here's some of my recent work!

Hey y'all! My mom just got hit with a $600 car repair, and while my incoming tax refund will be able to cover our rent by the end of the month, both of our savings are completely wiped out already. They're unable to work due to multiple disabilities, they are currently receiving worker's compensation but it's not much. I work part-time and am a full-time student, but my loan disbursement for this term went to covering January and February rent, so all in all we have very little income right now.

As well as my commissions, I have my Redbubble shop linked up above, and my mom has an Etsy shop where they restore and resell vintage pieces. We'd really appreciate any help y'all can give and I'd be thrilled to draw something for you! 💜

Updated the look of my D&D character, Astra, to match some of the changes to her character with recent in-game events - namely, multiclassing from druid into rogue! The symbol next to her is a tattoo I plan on having her get at some point, but there's some ~plot~ that has to happen before we get to that lol.

I promise I'm still making art, it's just mostly classwork these days!
