A very brief introduction to the world's oldest hatred: antisemitism.

Because I'm only seeing other Jews posting about this, non-Jews I need you to be aware that for the past month or two there has been a wave of bomb threats and swattings at synagogues all across the US. They usually do it when services are being livestreamed. I haven't seen a single non-Jew talking about this. High holidays are coming up in a few weeks, which is when most attacks happen against our communities. We're worried, and we need people to know what's happening to us.

I'm so excited to find another omnist! Mind if I ask what your views within it are/ how you practice it? ❤️
Awesome! 😃💕
It’s hard to describe my views exactly, because it would be like a book-length test 😂
But basically I believe there’s truth found in all religions and that there’s not only “one” right path. I believe that all deities exist.
In my case I would say I’m kind of an ChristoPagan Omnist, who is also partly of Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jewish ancestry and include parts of Judaism into my path as well.
The Pagan traditions I’m strongly interested in are Celtic, Semitic and Hellenism. I’m also very interested in Eastern religions, but I don’t know a lot about it.
I’ve always been very interested in Native American spirituality too (I think maybe I had a past life in Native American culture) but I don’t practice it actively, since I don’t wanna actually appropriate the culture.
When it comes to practice, I’m not very active, especially because of my struggles with mental health, but I celebrate some of the Pagan, Christian and Jewish holidays (when I don’t get an anxiety attack).
Hoping I can be more active in my practice, also with all the witchy things I love.
It’s hard to try to put it all in here. I believe in the positive parts of religions and not in doctrines or teachings I see as old, bigoted and conservative.
What about you?
I love your Tumblr page! 💕

Happy December everyone! And with this, a friendly reminder to:
Respect peoples religions!
Respect that some people celebrate/don’t celebrate certain things!
Take corrections and criticism well!
If someone asks you to do something that would make your speech or actions more inclusive, you probably should do it!
Don’t assume people are a certain thing are do a certain thing based on your own beliefs!
Don’t make fun of people’s traditions!
Let people have fun!
And above all, just have fun, be kind, and love each other!
Happy holidays y’all!

Soon I’ll be happy to celebrate a few holidays that are very important to me.
Something that I wish people would know:
- Bitterness and hatred are never the answer!
Whatever you celebrate, you have the right to celebrate it loud and proud!
It’s fucking 21st century!
No one thinks like people did in 1400 anymore (except extremist fanatic bigots, but they exist everywhere)
We can change and reform everything!
