oh it was definitely awkward

asra couldn’t stop giggling at first

you couldn’t figure out why

after all, all you were talking about was pollination

“no, MC… not flower pollination, more like….human…pollination?”

you stared at him like he was crazy and he groaned, slapping his hands onto his face

he brought his hands down to his chin, lacing his fingers together and staring at you

he looked so pensive you laughed

“this is no laughing matter, MC,” he said

“if i remember correctly, you were giggling nonstop not 1 minute ago,” you playfully retorted

he groaned again, leaning back on his chair

“Fine, okay. Look, babies come from inside their parents, right?”

you nodded, he had explained this to you minutes before

“So how do you think that baby got there?”

you stared at him, clueless

he sighed, his face turning a shade of red, “when the bee goes inside the flower, it leaves pollen.”

you furrowed your brows

and then your eyes slowly got wider and wider

you jumped up off of your chair

“YOU’RE A BEE,” you screamed, your hands flying to your quickly reddening face

“and you’re a flower,” he said, a valiant smile playing on his lips

you stared at him, “wait does this mean-”

Asra quickly caught on, “No! No, uh, I mean theoretically, yes but we’d have to-”

“Asra, I don’t want a baby in me! take it out!”

Asra burst into laughter

“There’s no baby in you!” 

“But if you’re a bee and I’m a flower…!”

“No, MC, we’d have to actually….like….make contact.”

“Oh,” you sighed and sat back down, clearly relieved, “So how would someone make contact?”

“Hm,” he tried to hide his embarrassed smirk, “when two people love each other very much, they might decide that they want to….be a part of each other.”

“Oh,” you said, very quietly, and then lifted your eyes to his face.

he swallowed hard. that was the look you used to give him, before.

he smiled and pat your hands, “that’s enough learning for today, MC. let’s make dinner.”
