I found out today that the mother of one of my students was killed over Christmas break while they visited family in Mexico. My prayers are going out to their family in this time of sorrow and crisis, and I only hope that they are granted peace and covered with divine protection as they navigate through the difficult journey ahead. This picture of Guadalupe seemed appropriately for this somber occasion.

TFA Institute Share-Out Prayer-Out

I'm not quite sure why I've lost the motivation to be here at TFA Institute... I'm not sure if it's b/c of the bullish!t they require of us, or maybe the monotony of the food in the dining hall...

But today I am finding it vert difficult to stay motivated to work. It it weren't for the few thousand dollars that I'd owe TFA and the negative impact it would have on my current students I'd so be outta here!

God, I know that you order the steps of the righteous, and I want to be continuously walking in the path you have chosen for me. Give me the strength to continue to do the great work you have predestined me to do. I know you will provide me with supernatural strength that will sustain me over the next two weeks and, ultimately, the next two years. You didn't bring me this far to let me fail.
