She returned the embrace, giggling softly as she nuzzled the top of his head. She was so happy that this wasn’t one-sided. She just hoped that now he wouldn’t lose him again. Aya couldn’t stand to lose him again; No never again…So he would stay with her this time, right? Things would be okay this time…right? She just had to hope for the best.

“Good…Don’t leave me alone….” The ravenette returned the kiss, smiling right back at him. She didn’t care how much older she looked than him, they loved each other and that was all that mattered. In actuality, they were around the same age anyways. “I-I hope the chocolates taste good, I tried my best on them. I don’t make sweets much, but I really wanted to for today…”

She felt a bit self-conscious, wondering if he even liked sweets in the first place. What if he didn’t? Or maybe he wouldn’t like what she had made? Maybe her batch for him had come out bad, or he didn’t like that particular kind of chocolate. There were many bad possibilities, she was getting nervous! 

"They're so cute, I don't want to eat them alone... Let's share them!" Dio's smile only grew, his hand gently intertwining with hers. Perhaps that so called red string of fate was tied around their hearts instead of their fingers, reveling in the undeniable attraction.

"Come on, mistress." Guiding her to the couch, he slipped down next to her, gently opening the box. For his family, when they were alive, having sweets, let alone chocolates, was a luxury. Picking one and holding it up, He waited for her to view into it.

"I want you to have the first bite."  Dio smiled at her, waiting for her to eat the chocolate.

She... Reciprocated his emotions? After a moment of shocked silence, he smiled and hugged the older and taller girl tightly. Even if he couldn't age, he'd stay by her side until she died. Only then, he vowed, would he fade into the afterlife with her. It was an angel's promise of love, and yet Dio wasn't as so.

But was the world really so black and white that a child, originally named Lucifer, couldn't become an angel one day? Who knew? But that was not for Dio to know or tell as now, he was somewhat alive and with his beloved.

"Aya... I'm glad... I won't go anywhere, alright? I'll stay right here by your side, mistress..." He kissed her lips innocently again, smiling up at her. Even if they could seem like mother and son, it seemed their real love could only grow stronger.

“I know I didn’t, but I wanted to make you something.” She didn’t mind the pain it resulted in, as long as the chocolates came out good. Her cheeks turned a light pink at the small kisses. She listened to what the blond said, frowning sadly. When she was about to speak though, he kissed her!...

"Di~o~" The girl sung out the boy's name as she walked up to him, hiding something behind her back. When Aya reached him, she smiled happily and revealed what was behind her back: a heart shaped box filled with chocolates she made herself. Inside the box was a little card that read: "Be my Valentine?" Her fingers were covered with band-aids, she was quite a clumsy cook. But she wanted to make something for him. "Happy Valentine's Day! I made this for you." ((Here it is ouo))

Dio’s face turned bright red, as he tenderly took the box. “Mistress, you didn’t have to hurt yourself to do this… But I thank you.” Gently taking her hands, he kissed each band-aid twice, being gentle in his work. He would be honored to be hers, but would she even take him…?

“Mistress, I’ve got a confession… I went to your home as a test subject, since I had nothing left… But I helped your mother and then I was going to be your personal servant… Your mother would tell me stories about you and I would fall asleep to them in the cells… I died trying to protect you… And… There’s just one thing I left out…”

Tilting her chin up, the blonde kissed her lips gently, before whispering.

“I love you…”
