Special thank you to @backslashwdm48 for making part of the background for me. She told me it was a WIP for another of her drawing in the future, but gave me permission to use it and doctor it for this piece. :3 Thanks Sis!!

Fae Auberon based off @lizzie-tempest 's story "That Time I Got Kidnapped By A Fairy King And Accidentally Fell In Love" which was based on the UTMV Fae au by @owl-bones and @antlered-prince

I tried my best to give this piece a textured look as if it was painted, but I'm not sure it comes across very well.... oh well. If you would like to know my headcanon lore for this AU and Auberon in this AU, just ask, most people don't read these descriptions anyways, so engaging with me to ask me things let's me know that you've read through this and that you care. ^_^

It's called Dragon Booster and I'm so curious to see if anyone else remembers watching it back in 2004 cause it still rules and it was one of my BIG FAVS.

Ya know, this is actually the third year that I've drawn for MerMay. Its actually kinda fun to keep drawing this particular story. And no one's noticed that they are all part of the same storyline. Though, I don't blame anyone for not noticing. The first two are kinda obscure and it hasn't really progressed to the point of actually knowing what's going on. But it has been rather fun to me.

Also, if anyone's wondering why no Cross or Dream, Cross went with Dream to protect him while he sunbathes. And if anyone is also wondering where Lucida is, she's behind the point of view with Nightmare. Another thing too, you can't see it very well, but Dust is holding one of his skeleton fish buddies. Oh, and fun fact, Auberon's circlet usually has moonstone as the gem, but I decided that in this au its a pearl instead. Probably no one would have noticed tho. @aylish91 @lizzie-tempest Tagging just because I've noticed that my art doesn't get to your feeds till much later for some reason and I just wanted you guys to see it! :3
