You should totally learn about parasites, there's people here that would totally tell you things and listen to your questions and such (me obviously included). Tumblr is such a nice place to info dump, learn and ask questions (especially about the more "unusual" special interests). That's why my Tumblr is so crowded with different interests, hyperfixations, special interests, yada. Many people will start conversations in tags from reblogs and ramble!

Also omg Sweeny Todd mention, I would so listen to what you have to say about the parallel in the lyrics. Glad this didn't happen when I was hyperfixated on Sweeney Todd or I would've been yapping!

I probably made no sense, it's like 2am and I'm going to wake up at 7am for the zoo at 9am. But! I wanted to say something! You seem so super sweet and wanted to respond back. I promise you'll find someone to infodump to and someone to infodump back. And find someone who will happily ramble about parasites to you, some of us linger on here. /ᐠ. .ᐟ\ฅ

My speical interests doesn't turn heads until I mention one of them – parasitology; the study of parasites.

It's been one of my big 3 special interests, aka the ones I've had since I was 5 years old. Bat biology, biology, & parasitology.

I was used to getting picked on with parasitology, because who enjoys learning about deadly parasites? Who has a favorite parasite? Who enjoys analysing the harm parasites cause to their host?

Just it stings more when someone I love makes little comments like, "Interesting." Or "Huh that's weird." In a questionable tone. Any fellow autisic people with "out of the ordinary" special interests may know what I mean when I say questionable tone. I don't know how to describe it better.

Just ugh. It sucks. It really does.
