i just realized i announced butterfly effect’s cancellation a day before its 2 year anniversary oh dear

i think i’m officially gonna stop working on butterfly effect, i just don’t have the energy to spend any more time anymore, however i might release a summary of the story and each character arc that i was planning

i’m not feeling nearly as much motivation to finish butterfly effect as i have been these past few months, and since i’m prioritizing and focusing on other things now that are more important to me i feel like i’m just dragging my feet trying to polish each chapter.. i’ve already made eight drafts of this story and attempted to finish it several times so it feels bad to just drop it, but i may have to. it was an ambitious project from the start and to make the story shorter and more achievable to finish would mean cutting out essential characters which i don’t want to do. plus this story is based off a series that i’m not interested in at all anymore and it’s hard to let go of the embarrassed feeling i get when thinking about posting a warrior cat fic online.

i really still want my story to be out there though so i’ll have to make a summary or something!! despite the possibility that i’m going to stop working on this project i’m still very glad i took it up because every struggle was worth the lessons i learned from them even if it means im never going to finish writing this story. it’ll be a while though since as i mentioned, i’m focused on other things now. so whatever i decide to do i hope people will still enjoy it !!

Happy new year everyone!!! i hope everyone’s been having a fun and safe holiday. this year i hope to finish the rough draft for butterfly effect somewhere around april or may. it’s going to be pretty lengthy so that’s why i’ve estimated the “deadline” to be just a bit before halfway through the year. and hopefully in the following months i’ll be able to have a final draft to share!!! :D i’m very very excited to share the story with you all, in the meantime i’ll try to focus on making more art of the characters because i’ve been missing drawing them dearly. anyway happy new years again, and i sincerely hope 2021 will be kinder to us.

i can’t believe it’s already been like 2 months since i last posted here or made any butterfly effect related art D: i’m still working on the story, in fact i’ve been working on it a lot more recently, so i hope that by march or april 2021 i’ll have the rough draft all done! i promise i’ll make more drawings of the characters as well lol i’ve just been trying to focus on my main ocs as of late! if there’s anything in particular you guys would like to see i’ll be open to suggestions, i’m only gonna make relatively spoiler free art though heh

HEY yes i’m still working on this story... not sure if anyone was wondering but just in case *wink* 

this is a scene from one of the earlier chapters. figaro and colette have a lot of interaction with each other in the new version! so there’ll be more of a look into their dynamic n stuff which i’m personally really happy about. hope you guys enjoy it when i post the full story!!
