Hello y'all, i sorta want to apologize for not keeping this blog updated at all this past year, and also let you know that the situation probably won't change in the near future at least. At first i had problems with my computer and I could barely check the tags for new content, and then i gradually lost interest in the show (and given the recent events, i might just quit it altogether tbh) and real life got in the way and etc etc etc

I'm telling y'all this mostly because there's been a bunch of new followers recently (i sincerely hope that means there's revived interest in the ship) and i wouldn't want y'all to indefinitely expect regular posts which may never show up, but also to throw it out there that if anyone was interested in taking over the blog and keeping it up to date with the new content, i (and hopefully the rest of y'all) would be very grateful. If that's the case, shoot me an ask!

yo just another aspiring author. so im new to the ship which is a pretty rare ship and i wanna write barmaro in as many tropes as possible. so what are some of your favorite fanfic tropes and fanfic moments/tags/styles and what are some you really wanna see barmaro in?

i personally am what many would describe as a Very Basic Binch jfasldjfas i’m a sucker for fake dating, accidental/unplanned bed sharing, casual intimacy, lots of pining etc etc etc. for barmaro specifically i Love the idea of them trying something at some point but it not working for Reasons/not being ready/having-your-kids-move-across-the-country-and-getting-pretty-much-forced-into-retirement-which-makes-you-flee-to-the-state-of-california but then finding each other later on and trying again. hurt/comfort, angst with a happy ending, slow burn, happy domesticity, casual-sex-turned-into feelings, I Want It All. i’m also a goner for firsts!! first kiss/first i love you/etc. and i’d love!! to see more aus!! but my imagination is below zero so all i can come up with is “college au” which like, absolutely, yes, but there are probably others too fasjjkfalsjf

if any followers have their preferences to add please do so!!! like i said, my tastes are Very Basic so maybe this response is a bit limiting, sorry!

so do you have any gifs of barmaro showing (grudging) respect to each other?

hmmm i’m in dire need of a rewatch to provide a more exhaustive answer but i’d say their scenes in padre sandunguero (1, 2, 3, 4) definitely count, as they are some of the most sincere and emotionally charged scenes they’ve shared? where they interact as individuals with similar experiences rather than merely as coworkers. i’m sure there must be a lot of tiny moments where they express respect in the context of their cases (i’m especially thinking of courtroom scenes?) but other than the gifs tag i can’t direct you to anything more specific, i’m sorry ):
