Oppositional sexism is a very useful term actually. Like, so much is better explained by the idea of “there’s a societal belief that men and women should remain opposites and should have no overlapping traits” than “this is homophobia/transphobia”. ALSO some art apps have built in 3d model tools (like csp) but i find them annoying. use posemy.art or any of the numerous apps on the app stores. and the wicked whims mod for the sims 4 has poses too !!!

do you use any resources for positions when drawing nsfw art, or do you pull them from memory? i'm trying to draw something more complicated, but i have nobody to act it out with and looking for something similar in porn is a chore

well!! thing abt drawing porn is that there arent exactly any widely available resources that arent 1) pay walled or 2) just plain porn websites. i dont rlly like drawing porn from memory (mostly bc instead of 4 limbs ur suddenly dealing w 8 or more😭 good luck keeping track of all them) so my best advice is to either just. either use 3d models (or just dolls IRL) to replicate the positions ORR use this site (other porn sites work too but i like this one for references). its a little annoying to use but better than nothing + is an actual photo site where u can find the same photoshoot in case u need more references/angles/whatever. also i find that photo-bashing multiple photos is also Very helpful w more. odd poses. also look through rule34 and their tags in case u want to see if other artists done a similar pose and how they simplified it or pictured it

like in general porn art is just. difficult. its censored to the point that actual resources are scarce and even finding sites to post is can be difficult if u want to use them Beyond nsfw work but when in doubt use a non porn reference and magic ur way into making it as filthy as u'd like

something about tyrion lannister—the man who treats sex workers like property, fantasizes about raping and killing his sister, slaps his teenage lover for mocking him, makes his child bride undress and proceeds to grope her, strangles his lover to death for humiliating him, rapes multiple enslaved women (on his way to the literal breaker of chains)—being haunted by the question of “where do whores go?” is genuinely horrifying.

after a lifetime of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse against women—particularly sex workers—now you want to know where whores go? now you’re finally starting to consider them beyond the context of sexual objectification? to understand what could have happened to tysha, tyrion has to understand a group of people who have never even been human to him (and still aren’t, considering that he rapes two enslaved women before asking them this question, though he doesn’t get an answer from either woman). even regarding tysha, tyrion only starts asking “where do whores go?” after finding out that she wasn’t a sex worker and therefore didn’t deserve to be gang raped. tyrion only recognizes her humanity when she’s once again defined as HIS wife.

tyrion will never know where whores go because he doesn’t deserve to. maybe he’ll find peace or maybe he won’t, but he’s never going to find tysha.

and yeah, tyrion’s misogyny and abusive behavior doesn’t exist in a vacuum. he’s a victim of sexual violence at the hands of his father. he resents women for the revulsion and mockery he sees in their eyes when they look at him. he treats sex workers like objects because they’re the only group of people that he can exercise control over. ALL of that is true. and he’s still never going to know where whores go.
