"i actually think i'd enjoy gotham"- thought process clarification: -> gotham is not that bad actually -> the only reason we think it's shit is because we can see the crimes happening -> because all the criminals wear wacky outfits -> i'd much rather know a crime is happening around me in the moment than to get home and find out on the news
#thinking about all the shit that happens in gotham im like 'ah a thwarted terrorist attack- that happened behind my house last week'#or 'woah drug criminal tortures somebody'. my coworker's dad went to prison for plastering someone behind a wall#i will say that kidnappings are greatly overexaggerated in media. however i will give them a pass bc they used to happen more often#anyways i think gotham is not that bad actually. the aesthetic is great. i think there's ample job opportunity esp in politics#since the mayor keeps getting murdered...#gotham#batman

#audrey hepburn was british-dutch. heck she was the daughter of a dutch duchess. but i checked like 10 languages of wikipedia pages#and apparently she's only british-dutch instead of just british in the intro blurb of the dutch & german wikipedia#sure it's mentioned. but the intro blurb. that's the summary of their identity right? is it suddenly not their heritage anymore?#sandra bullock has german citizenship and grew up there... but she's only german on german wikipedia not english#BUT timothee chalamet is french-american on wikipedia? is he simply too french to hide it?#bruh i just found out that the van halen brothers are dutch-indo! theyre called american on wikipedia. unfair to them & their fam#like i know it doesn't seem like much. but why are some people identified by their cultural identity and when are they claimed as a certain#cultural identity without being able to have a say in it#i remember stephen fry articulating it as well. he's claimed by the public as quintessentially british#kind of negating his jewish heritage#americans put a lot of focus into labels like irish-american italian-american etc to refer to their cultural identity#but when they're famous enough this cultural identity is scrubbed out of their personal blurb and BOOM! theyre american now#idk its very interesting to notice. esp when looking through different language's wikipedia pages

since making this post, i fell off a moped after a cat jumped in front of me and now can't bend my knee, and got an infection temporarily rendering me unable to walk after stepping on a bee.
i never get any cool injuries like i will literally throw my shoulder out doing yoga too hard, sprain my ass sitting down in the car wrong, nearly break my middle finger by getting it stuck in a lawn chair, and not ONE (1) murderous crocodile has made its way on to my path
