I’m so obsessed with Hanbang skincare right now ahhh idk what to do with myself! It’s Asian skincare? It uses oriental/ancient medicinal ingredients combined with modern technology? It has history, legends, traditions? It’s luxury? It’s packaging is absolutely gorgeous? It has amazing reviews like no other?
I don’t even MIND spending a few grand just to have my dream products all lined up on my vanity in front of me like some ancient Asian princess’s bedroom. I will not mind at all. Because my skin will be that of a baby’s and have That Glow.

How to be pillow-soft ♡
♡ exfoliate your face with a face sponge + a moisturizing cleanser once per week ( I like Garnier’s soothing milk face wash with rose water)
♡ exfoliate your skin and lips with a sugar scrub once a week (organic cane sugar + coconut oil + few drops of vanilla extract)
♡ take cooler showers to prevent your skin from drying out
♡ use a body oil right after you shower but before you dry off
♡ moisturize your skin using a nice body lotion and face moisturizer (look for ones with vitamin e or shea butter, or oil-free if you’re prone to acne)
♡ ALWAYS use sunscreen on your body + face ( I use Sun Bums facial or baby sunscreens for my whole body)
♡ take a cool shower after you sweat a lot to prevent acne (never go to bed sweaty)
♡ wash your bed sheets once per week
♡ wear soft cotton or satin pajamas
♡ if it’s cold and windy outside protect your skin with warm clothes, scarves, and hats
♡ use a pumice stone in the shower for softer elbows, knees, and feet, then follow up with lotion and aloe socks
♡ use gloves when washing dishes
♡ purchase a moisturizing hand soap and always carry around hand lotion
♡ use clean-ingredient, fragrance-free detergents to wash your clothes
♡ use a face mask once a week
♡ use deep conditioners, hair masks, or leave in conditioners for soft hair

Tips for Clear Skin
I’ve seen a couple of these posts but I kinda wanted to do my take on it and what has helped me. Will prob update this as I go.
Double Cleanse - always mention this because it’s bomb. Washing your face with an oil-based cleanser, then a water-based cleanser is a really good place to start for clear skin. I’ve been doing this for a while and I barely breakout, just be consistent.
Toner - after cleansing this takes care of any impurities that still may be on your skin depending on if you wear makeup. This also helps your skin get the most out of skincare products. You want that mask at it’s full potential.
Clay Masks/ Mud Masks 1-3 times a week
These type of masks clean your pores and are good for when you have breakouts. Also if you haven’t cleansed/cleansed properly for a few days, use a clay/mud mask after cleansing to make up for it and keep things on track. Oily/acne prone skin types can do these up to 3 times a week while other skin types can do this less.
Let your face air dry after cleansing
If you don’t wash your face towel often, or are worried about bacteria, wipe off most of the excess water with your hand and let your face air dry after cleansing. This is also useful if you have sensitive skin, personally my skin feels better doing this.
After a workout
If you’re really sweaty and still have things to do the rest of the day I would cleanse so that sweat isn’t on your skin. Double Cleansing isn’t necessary because all you need is a water-based cleanser since water-based cleansers take care of sweat. So cleanse with any micellar water/foam cleanser/facial bar you want and if you don’t want to moisturize again, spray on some facial mist. I like doing this to refresh myself.
Cut out Soda
Cutting out sugar in general is great but if you just cut out soda, that makes a difference already. Even though diet doesn’t personally make me breakout, I limit the sugar so that my skin isn’t dull.
Drink Water - if you don’t want to eat healthy at least drink water so your skin is getting some love. I know a healthy diet doesn’t help everyone in having clear skin but water is important.
Sleep
Sleep makes everything better.
