12 meshes, a billion recolors, a butt load of slots and some missing hair later - my hall set is finished! It occurred to me that the hallway was the one place I hadn’t really made anything for. Things that could be used in a hallway, yes.. but specifically for the hallway? No. (But that doesn’t mean this stuff can’t be used elsewhere!)

Since I made this set for myself it’s huge because it has everything I want and the repository method was used in a major way. I debated sharing because the way I master/slaved the main furniture might confuse someone other than me.. but here it is anyway. :D

There is a TON of information to know so in the interest of keeping this shorter - there is a text file included in the download. PLEASE READ IT. Everything you need to know is in it: which meshes are masters/slaves; which meshes have slots and how many; catalog info (including polycounts); subsets; shiftability.. it’s all in there. (I did forget to put in there that the shelves were placed next to the bench using the quartertile cheat. They fit perfectly that way.)

I can and will tell you that the polycounts are very reasonable AND that there is a collection file included.

Credit to Shasta for the pirate woods I used and Amythestfenix for the wood textures I snagged from her Don Pedro bookcase recolors!

Happy (Late) 15th Anniversary of The Sims 2! And what better way to celebrate than with a redesign of 170 Main Street, also known as the Caliente household! 

I did this build before the big fiasco with my hood and due to a lot of other issues with my computer I never got around to posting it. This was also my first time trying out using Mootilda's Grid Adjustor to create that modern looking deck and I'm still very very happy with how it turned out! 

The download link I’ve included is empty and CC-free. Besides the decor and walls I didn’t use much CC to begin with so not much looks different from the empty version.

Thank you! This post did help give me some additional info (thanks Chris Hatch). Unfortunately I made things ten times worse by putting the lot back in the neighborhood...

I don’t want to deal with clones in my game so I’m just gonna start over. Luckily my latest backup doesn’t mess with any of my playables, I just have to restart my playthrough of the premades to catch them up with the rest of my hood and do face surgery on the kids that were born from them.

Please Help!

I was working on moving some premade uni students into a single university when I accidentally added the Tri-Var House to the bin while still occupied. I know this corrupts your hood and I’m in the process of putting it back and running the hood checker but I just want to know if there is anything else I can do?

My last backup is from late July so it’s not that far but I did do almost 5 years of gameplay with the Pleasentview premades to catch them up with the rest of my hood and I would lose all of that progress.

Any suggestions/tips on possibly fixing this would be appreciated! ;_;

Making family portraits for my sims somehow led to me messing around with recoloring some other stuff. I wanted some more backsplashes and I loved the glass tile patterns that @retromaisie created so I kinda went crazy with recoloring them!

The mesh and swatches are included as well as compressed and uncompressed versions if you only wanted a few of them.

Part 3 of my hood’s revamp, and this time I tried for something smaller and cheaper. This starter home is perfect for small families or sims just starting out, with an unfurnished price of around $16k. I used the lot adjuster to make the 2x4 lot I started on smaller and then worked from there but it is still a fully functional lot. 

I usually include a download link to a CC-free version of the lot below, but since I used the Bespoke Build Set for the floors, doors, and windows, I've also included a download with the items from the build set included and a link to the set below as well (the set is HUGE but so pretty, I would really recommend it). You have to download the build set from the MTS link below in order to have the CC version of the lot.
