My CD Release Show will be this coming Tuesday the 30th at Loosey's Pub in Gainesville!!!

I'll be playing with a full band and there will be cupcakes and the fabulous Ricky Kendall is opening (and will also be playing in my band) and there will be tons of fun!!!

If you're in Gainesville (or surrounding areas tbh), you better get your ass there!!!

can you set up a paypal account for that or something?

I could, and I might try to do that when I have a little more time (will have to figure out shipping and stuff like that), but like I said, I'm not able to make very many copies because each one takes a long time, so I haven't really looked into ways of distributing them beyond selling them at my shows.  But yes, maybe in the next month or two I will try to set something up online, at least temporarily.  I will definitely keep you all posted on this here blog on what I end up doing with that!

Thank you so much!  I should probably set up a way for people to order the EP online, but I have such a small supply of them since they're all handmade and take me a long time, I haven't been able to do that yet.  The EP is available on bandcamp though for digital download!

Hello! I just came across you in the Laura Marling tag; you're a fantastic guitarist and your originals are lovely! I was just curious how you came across the opportunity to open for Laura?

I was asked to open for Laura by the show's promoter.  Lucked out, I suppose.  I mean, I've been playing shows around town for years and have worked with the promoter before, so he was familiar with my music and probably thought it would be a good fit.

Are there many Laura Marling fans who are also Sharon Van Etten fans?  If you, as a Laura Marling fan, go to see Laura Marling and the opener plays this cover, would you dig it or would you be like wtf?

This was recorded 2 years ago (when I was still White Elephant Gift Exchange) for Versions of Joanna, a Joanna Newsom covers compilation benefiting Oxfam America's Pakistan Floods Relief Fund.

Here's a cover I've been working on recently.  It's a song called "Love More" by Sharon Van Etten.  I thought I'd try out some weird percussive techniques I've been playing with because...because I felt like it, ok?
