Happy Father's Day to that food baby you got, Beerus!
There's not an immediate retaliation.
Instead, there's a long, drawn out sigh.
"...You must be quite the moron to think you can insult me without retribution."
And it seems as if he had a curse put upon him where he was forced to endure an endless amount of idiots.
He can't be bothered to do anything but wave his hand at the unfortunate soul, an immense force of air immediately hitting them and sending them flying into the distance.
They even made a little twinkle in the sky.

How quaint. Had he been easily swayed, he would have been taken these voiced doubts as a form of concern for his being, but he knew it was anything but. A casual wave of his hand is given before he speaks, "How I spend my time shouldn't concern you, the time allotted to me by your queen is to be spent how I see fit, is it not? Therefore, you shall simply have to trust that the decisions I make are in my best interest."
He needs not to hear an answer from the servant, it wasn't as if he feared that this servant would report every single action he performed, as long as he continued to play his part and offer lip service as a curious but willing participant in the upcoming ceremony, he felt his desire for freedom was hidden well enough. If it were not, there were doubts in the destroyer's mind that the ruler of this land would abide by any requests he had given her, let alone the one that spared him of her presence.
There were no allies in these walls, no souls that he need to think about saving, nothing that needs to be spared of his wrath. But then, why did he not destroy? Why did he not dare to rip away everything in his path until only he and the woman who made a fool out of him remained? Why play this game at all? Those were answers only he had known, and those answers fueled each and every action he had taken once he had woken up.
His eyes would silently scan the chambers of his betrothed, the stories detailed by every decoration had only been further evidence that she had no qualms killing those she sought fit. Fools who believed they could truly challenge her, and the unfortunate who simply didn't know what they were getting into. All long gone, he imagined, tales of conquest that were but fleeting moments in the eyes of an eternal being.
There's a moment of silence as his eyes focus on the mirrors, reflecting internal thoughts, ever so slightly changing the angle of which he was viewed. The desire for freedom gnawed at him like a rabid animal, a fist would slowly be formed as he nearly lost himself in thought until he happened to spot her. The feared and loved ruler. Sweat begins to form on his forehead, uncertain as to how she would react to his presence here and now.
But she says nothing, and leaves the view of the god before he can say a word to her.
"...Such sullen eyes for one that has so much, you must feel as though you have so little. That sensation of never being satisfied must eat you alive, even if you have me, that hunger must gnaw at you still." His voice quietly echoes in the room, his posture unmoving for several seconds as he continues to stare at where the queen disappeared from sight. Now he was left with not a soul reflected in these mirrors. Not a soul, beyond his own. And even that could be taken from him in a matter of days.
The scent of her power fading ever so slightly as she continued to keep distance between the two of them, but the only way to be rid of the unpleasant odor would be to leave this kingdom once and for all. That could not happen yet, but there was some personal satisfaction knowing that for all her power, she was far too willing to abide by her own rules, not even casting him out of her resting place when he requested distance from her.
After a minute of contemplation, he would look back at the servant assigned to him, extend a finger towards her and beckon her closer. It was easy to assume that only the queen and her "husbands" were allowed in the chambers, but Beerus could not help but wonder where this line of freedom was truly drawn. Of course, deliberate actions were far too obvious, and so he would need to play the role of an oblivious one.
His glide over to the focus on the assigned servant once more, though she had not said a thing since he entered, he could smell the fear coming from her body. How she feared this decision, likely for how it would come on her head if he were to disrupt anything haphazardly. Of course, Beerus had no intention of seeing if this would get the poor woman killed. No, any servant would be replaced, it would be in his best interest to ensure any misstep was incidental and harmless. For the time being.
"If you would be so kind as to come in for a moment, I have some questions about the decor of my dear queen's quarters. And you would know more than I, would you not?"
A beat.
"Of course, if you are not permitted inside, perhaps you may tell me what conquest was her greatest? Surely tales of that must be common knowledge around here."

She nodded, her eyes never leaving the floor. "As you wish, my lord." She led him through the labyrinthine halls of the castle, her steps quick and precise as she navigated the familiar pathways. The castle was a stark contrast to the outside world, opulent and gleaming, filled with the whispers of ghosts long past, each corner holding a silent story of power and manipulation. The air was heavy with the scent of incense, an attempt to mask the stench of fear that seemed to seep into the very stones themselves.
Her thoughts raced as they approached the Queen's chamber. What was he planning? Did he intend to confront her, or was this some twisted part of the Queen's game she hadn't yet understood? She clenched her fists, feeling the fabric of her sleeves tighten around her wrists. If he did anything rash, it would be on her head. The Queen would not care about the reasons; she would seek retribution. The thought of the Queen's wrath made the servant girl's heart race, her pulse thudding in her ears like the beating of war drums.
They arrived at the grand double doors of the Queen's suite, and the girl paused, her hand hovering over the ornate handle. "My lord." She began tentatively. "Are you certain this is wise?"
As she remained there shaking her head. "I merely wish to ensure that your time is well spent."
With a nod, she pushed open the heavy doors, revealing an opulent chamber that was a stark contrast to the starkness of the rest of the castle. The walls were adorned with tapestries of gold and crimson, the floor covered with plush carpets that swallowed the sound of their footsteps. The Queen's scent, a heady mix of exotic flowers and something darker, more primal, filled the air. It was a place of beauty and power, designed to overwhelm and intimidate.
But what truly drew attention were the legendary weapons that lined the walls of the chamber. Swords that had sung their way through battles, their gleaming steel whispering of ancient wars and heroes long dead. Axes that had cleaved through the ranks of enemies, leaving only a trail of destruction in their wake. Maces that had crushed the bones of rebels and monsters alike. Each weapon was a testament to the Queen's might and her insatiable hunger for power, as she had killed anyone who was claimed to be the strongest.
They were not merely decorations; they were trophies of her conquests, reminders of her dominance over the realms.
As she hovered at the entrance, her eyes flickering between the weapons and Beerus, he felt a strange energy in the room. It was as if the very air was charged with a silent battle cry, the echoes of past conflicts reverberating in his very soul. She stepped back as she knew that he could not simply stand by and allow this charade to continue. He was the God of Destruction, not a man to be paraded around like some prize bull.
The nine mirrors around the room reflected his image back at him, each one framing him differently, as if the room itself was trying to show him various facets of his predicament. In some, he was a stoic figure, a silent observer of the opulence that surrounded him. In others, he looked like a caged animal, pacing back and forth, seeking an escape from his gilded prison. And in the largest one, directly opposite the Queen's bed, he saw the reflection of the her, her eyes filled with sorrow, as she turned and left, quickly, leaving him here.

would beerus celebrate pride month?
As an alien deity who is millions of years old, Beerus has no idea what pride month is. And if he heard about it, would brush it off as earthlings having a month to be proud about being earthlings.
It wouldn't catch his attention. But if someone told him the actual reason behind the celebration, he would respect the reasoning behind it.
He himself wouldn't bother too much with it, no. Unless there was promise of good food, but that would really be it.
#out of food (ooc)#// although beerus doesn't bother with using labels on himself#// he would be demi/grey romantic pansexual#// tho those words have no meaning to him if someone ever asked him

Mighty Beerus. Mighty god. You have devoured many foods, your power disintegrated many lives. Even souls, are not save from your strength. Tell me, are you afraid of one day someone might just have their strength overwhelm your own. That even a god such as you might be gobbled up as if you were a mere appetizer? That your life may flicker out one day in the blink of an eye?

This was not the first time he was asked such a question. Nor would he think it the last time. The answer to be given was always going to be the same, no matter how many times they asked.
Did they expect him to show fear? Uncertainty? To have worries that he was a big fish, to one day be eaten by a bigger fish? It was far too late to attempt to scare him with that idea.
It gets a small chuckle from him instead.
"Hardly, I believe if someone believes themselves to be capable of slaying me, I invite them to try. Although... I'd hardly call myself an appetizer, I believe I'd be more of a main course, something to remember before moving on."
#anonymous tag tbd#// trying to get back into writing here!!#// this is like the 500th reminder that beerus has no fear of death and would be satisfied being struck down by an enemy or a friend#// but he wants to be killed in a way that satisfies his own needs ie killed in a glorious fight#// dying in any other way such as being wiped from existence dampens his mood on the whole thing

(( Hey, I hope everything's been okay with everyone here. I'm sorry for disappearing without saying anything, I do enjoy the people here, I had to take a step back from the blog for a bit, not because of any personal experience here, but because of a certain election that stressed me out for a variety of reasons.
It really curbed my desires to write, as I simply wasn't in the mindset to really be on tumblr (or on any social media). But to be honest, I miss you guys, I miss being here. and I miss writing. I'll try to get back to things soon. Maybe in a week or two, who knows.
I hope everyone's been handling things okay! ))

When was the last time Lord Beerus experienced fear and how did he handle it?

Last time he felt fear was when Zeno said he was tempted to erase Beerus for sleeping through one of the games Zeno hosted. He responded to this by nearly having a heart attack and swallowing his pride while assuring Zeno it wouldn't happen again.

(Luigi)
“ Uh…did anyone call for a plumber, here? Or…oh, Mama Mia, did I get the wrong address? “
Welcome to Luigi is always lost, episode 9,789.
"The wrong planet, more like."
How did uninvited guests keep arriving on his own slice of the universe? It was hard to say, and perhaps he'd never get an answer better than "they got here by accident".
In any case, they seemed to be nothing more than a confused worker, albeit one who seemed to have this sort of thing happen to them often.
"I suggest you leave the way to arrived. Or, provided that is simply not possible, I'll have my attendant escort you back to your planet, provided you manage to behave yourself until he arrives."

"Is it safe to give you choclate? I heard that's deadly to cats and dogs."
"Indeed, it's quite deadly... to cats and dogs. Do you think me on the same level of fragility as those beings? Or do you wish to rethink your question before I let you know what my response will be?"
A rare moment of kindness, as he would have otherwise taught an important lesson to the koopa for his rather wrong assumption.

The witch leaves and edible bouquet for the God of Destruction. A mixture of fruit and edible flowers all arranged in a quaint basket. Though, should he not be thrilled by such, he may find a few cups of ramen at the center of it.

Now this was something he liked to see. He didn't even need to indicate he was hungry, a treat was just left for him. It smelled and looked delicious, and he intended to savor every single bite, as it would be criminal to not appreciate any piece of food that tickled his fancy.
And enjoy it he shall. Ever the voracious being, the offering is gone in barely more than a few minutes; in the aftermath of this meal, he reflect on the witch who had silently left him this meal for him to devour. A gesture that was worthy of acknowledgement, as she had even thought to default to classic meals such as cup ramen.
She was still a curious one to him, an enigma whose motivations escaped him. He could respect that, for he too, kept many things unclear to those around him.

Typically, talk of souls did not interest the destroyer. It was his smallest amount of kindness that traditionally, the souls of his victims were untouched once they permanently left their fleshy vessels. Of course, there were the unlucky few who were not given that measure of pity, and their essence became nothingness with no more than a flick of a finger.
"If I were the type to devour them, I believe I'd do so only if they were truly delicious." He punctuates his comment with a shrug, not paying any credence to the idea that it may have been beneficial for any reason revolving around strength. It'd be easy enough for him to dismiss the subject entirely, as he doubted that some soul-gulping glutton was going to be his end, but there was something that piqued his interest about the fact this would be what she chose to engage him about.
"Answer me this. You've mentioned you were a scholar, did you gain any knowledge from those you consumed? Any glimpses into their lives? Was there any understanding you gained from such a method? Or were they merely fuel for a greater purpose and not to be thought of again?"

"Similar, yet distinct, how quaint." To be a spirit living amongst those who consumed spirits, he assumed it must have been quite the harrowing experience knowing those around her ate her kind. But considering the lack of fear in her voice upon asking such a question, it would seem that any negative feelings to be had were next to none. Or well hidden.
None the less, he shrugs the comment off soon enough, "I'm of the preference of enhancing my abilities through my strength alone, eating others for their power is hardly my cup of tea. And if you've come to ask me to give you souls for you to absorb as others have, you must've mistaken me for a charity."

I can’t stand people that don’t let me speak hyperbolically. If I can’t respond to a minor inconvenience that someone should get shot in the fucking head for it then what’s the point of it all.

"Oh, I don't doubt there are those that hate me, but it's hardly for my devilishly handsome looks." He spares a toothy grin towards the bounty hunter, his tone still affable as he speaks, "Your compliment is noted, even if you're mistaken about this being a costume."
@beforecreation continued from x
"A very skeptical bounty hunter." He answers. He kinda suspected this was somebody in a costume, as he's never seen a kai before. "No offence." He'd add, rather nonchalantly. "What kind of God?"

The words that flew out Zomu's mouth did nothing but infuriate the God of Destruction. These criticisms, these flaws the universe had suffered, all flung upon him without regard to what his reaction might be? He could feel the anger brewing like a quiet storm as the kai shouted his long held frustration with his counterpart. Beerus was no idiot, he knew that Zomu would pop eventually, it was only a matter of when and how, and it seemed as if they were going to get another chance to fight once more... Or they would have, had the feline deity found himself wanting to engage the kai in a proper fight.
Instead, he would quickly fly up to the God of Creation and wrap his fingers around the other's neck as he quickly slammed the other man to the ground before the beam even has a chance to be fired. His grip would tighten Zomu's neck, slowly restricting the airflow as his cold grey eyes stared emotionlessly at the kai before him. Due to their shared life connection, Beerus could feel the pressure he was applying to the other, the sensation made him want to gasp for air and rid himself of this restraint around his neck.
But he refused to let go. Instead, he simply stared at the struggling Kai before he spoke.
"You think you can challenge me in that body of yours? You really are an idiot. If you want to throw a hissy fit, you're going to have to try harder than that."
He'd then release his chokehold on Zomu, standing tall before kicking the man a few feet away. It would be now that he would allow his anger to flow more freely, a purple aura surrounding him as he spoke up once more
"You want to babysit mortals? Hand feed them as they struggle to do anything themselves? Perhaps you should start helping them get dressed as well!" He'd scoff incredulously as he continued "Don't you dare spout your nonsense at me, Kai! If you want to throw your tantrum as you bemoan what life gave you, I suggest you find somewhere else to mope before you seriously piss me off!"
How to piss off a god
@beforecreation
A lot of relationships were strained after the body swap with Zamasu and becoming the Supreme Kai of Universe 7, but none more so than the one between Zomu and Beerus.
Within a matter of months, it became pretty self-evident that as a partner, Beerus wasn't exactly...the greatest to deal with on a regular basis. Sweet Zeno bless Whis's heart.
Zomu had just came back from Universe 1 with some designs drawn up with new ideas for radishes that were hardy enough to withstand the fungi (nicknamed the 'Frieza fungi' by the elders for its ability to make their lives a living hell) that had been plaguing the Namekian's crops and ruining their soil.
After introducing them to the Namekians, who were overjoyed at the prospect of having a fighting chance against the Frieza fungus. Seeing the smiles on the small green children and tears on the adults melted the former Saiyan. It made the trip worthwhile, even if just for that reaction from his subjects alone. Hope was irreplaceable.
Zomu was now exhausted from sparring with some of Universe 1's most talented warriors. He just wanted to sit down with a well-cooked meal as Kibito prepared him some hearty stew when Zomu sensed the destroyer's energy approaching.
#switchbrainedholylime#q#// sorry! i figured beerus is not in the mood to fight zomu#// long post bc i can't trim it for some reason smh#long post cw
