while I do think the idea that the tree entity might usurp the witch could definitely happen I do have to mention that in the most recent public patreon post for ep7 we see this image of the script where the witch outside of the adult scenes is included all the way until scene 13.

at the same time there is also the scene quite literally titled the tree so... Either way I'm very excited for ep7

◾️I was told about this post from Pelo, where he said that "Kevin's Dream Job" takes place 4-5 years before the current events (2013). In other words, this means that the events of this short do not take place in 2010, but in 2008 or 2009.

◾️And now that I think about it, it does make more sense.

◾️Tho it's a bit frustrating, that Pelo said it kinda vague, because I like accuracy, but okay, at least we have a time span.

◾️Let's correct my previous assumption.

SHORT 2: KEVIN'S DREAM JOB.

Date: September 8th, 2008 or September 7th, 2009.

◾️What we know for sure is the exact month, thanks to the calendar in Kevin's store.

◾️There is also a calendar in his house, where the first day of his work is Monday of the second week.

◾️And considering Pelo's post, we get that the events take place in 2008 or 2009.

◾️And there we have it: September 8th, 2008 or September 7th, 2009.

◾️Bonus: we can also assume that Radford's birthday is September 24th or September 23rd.

Timeline of the Spooky Month Episodes (1-6 + 2 shorts)

◾️I'm not able to do any fanart yet, kinda tired, but I want to make a few posts with my personal observations and analyses (because I really want to let my thoughts out somewhere).

◾️This is more done for myself, but maybe it will be useful for you too :D

◾️In this post, I want to present a timeline of the episodes. Perhaps someone has already done a post about this, but I personally have not seen it (either there's none, or I did not search well). But I had fun doing this analysis, that's the main thing :>

EPISODE 1: IT'S SPOOKY MONTH.

Date: from October 1st to November 2010.

◾️October 1st at the beginning of the episode.

◾️Lila's statement about November at the end of the episode.

◾️Moloch's statement from the 3rd episode (which takes place in June 17th, 2012) about being in the attic for 2 years.

◾️The newspaper from the 5th episode. The newspaper dates back to January 9th, 2013. It mentions Bob's attack on Lila and Skid from the 1st episode, which occurred 3 years ago from the moment of the newspaper's creation.

EPISODE 2: THE STARS.

Date: the first half of June 2012 (presumptive).

◾️I'm basing this on the Hatzgang scene from the 3rd episode (June 17th, 2012). Judging by Hatzgang's reaction, it is their first meeting with Skid and Pump after they saw Eyes Of The Universe. Therefore, I assume that 2nd and 3rd episodes take place close to each other.

◾️So 2nd episode takes place sometime in the first half of June 2012.

EPISODE 3: UNWANTED GUEST.

Date: June 17th, 2012.

◾️We see it directly on Lila's phone at the end of the episode.

EPISODE 4: DEADLY SMILES.

Date: January 2nd, 2013.

◾️A news report at the end of the episode about Bob's escape from prison.

◾️The newspaper from the 5th episode. It says that Bob escaped from prison on January 2nd, which means that the 4th episode takes place on the same date.

SHORT 1: STREBER'S REHEARSAL.

Date: October 31st, 2013 (Halloween). A little earlier than the events of the 5th episode.

◾️I think it's pretty obvious, since everyone here is preparing for an event (plus the foreshadowings).

EPISODE 5: TENDER TREATS.

Date: October 31st, 2013 (Halloween).

◾️It's obvious.

EPISODE 6: HOLLOW SORROWS.

Date: November 2013.

◾️Pump calls the current month "Hangover Spooky Month", which may indicate that it is November.

◾️The calendar in Kevin's store confirms this.

SHORT 2: KEVIN'S DREAM JOB.

Date: September 6th, 2010 (presumptive).

(13.07.2025 EDIT: Under the cut, there will be my speculations about this date, but this is an old assumption, and it turned out to be incorrect. I've made a better guess with the proofs here).

◾️What we know for sure is the exact month, thanks to the calendar in Kevin's store.

(next there's quite a bit of speculations)

◾️Buuut it is difficult to determine the day and year. Impossible even.

◾️We have these three scenes shown before the scenes we saw in the episodes:

◾️The first scene obviously takes place before the 1st episode, as SnP are wearing old masks. But the last two are not so clear. They occur either before the 1st episode as well, or after (maybe even during the 1st episode, since it took place all through October).

◾️There is no way to say for sure here.

◾️What I'm trying to say is that the short can take place either in September 2010 (a month before the 1st episode) or even in September 2009 (a year before the 1st episode).

◾️So let me tell you how I see it:

◾️I want to believe that the short takes place in September 2010, one month before the 1st episode.

◾️Accordingly, the scene with cats takes place in the same September. And the scenes where SnP play in coffee beans and play zombies take place between the 1st and 2nd episodes (there is a 2 year gap between them, probably).

◾️(27.04.2025 EDIT: Just realized that it's not coffee beans. It's dirt)

◾️And also accordingly, if the year is 2010, then Kevin's first day of work and his meeting with Skid and Pump took place on September 6th.

◾️And there we have it: September 6th, 2010.

◾️Bonus: then we can assume that Radford's birthday is September 22nd.

◾️I've never tried to figure out the timeline before when watching the episodes. But with the recent full joining to the fandom and a more attentive rewatch, I realized how big the time gaps are between some episodes. It's quite interesting how unnoticeable it was on my first watch.

My observations in SnP's movements (Part 2)

◾️Part 1

EXTRAS.

1. Affirmative nods.

◾️In ep6 (and one time in ep5), there were many moments when one of them spoke, and the other nodded or shook his head in confirmation of the words of the one who spoke.

2. Embarrassment.

◾️They usually keep their hands behind their backs or in front of them, nothing special.

◾️But a couple of times Pump added a foot movement to this.

3. Thinking.

◾️In general, there is no consistency in how they use their hands while thinking (left or right hand, with or without an extended finger).

4. Hands.

◾️May be a stretch, but I suppose Skid is left-handed and Pump is right-handed? I know there's an art form Pelo where Skid uses his right hand to draw so maybe he's ambidextrous or this detail wasn't fully thought out.

◾️I also know that the wiki says that Skid is ambidextrous, but it shows SnP's FNF sprites as proof, and it's kinda meh as a proof, in my opinion.

SKID.

◾️A few things related exclusively to him.

1. Fast nodding.

◾️He's the only one who does that, and I think it's funny XD

2. Repeating after Pump.

◾️Skid repeated Pump's movement a couple of times. I think it's cute)

3. This move.

◾️I'm just impressed that he can do that, that's all LOL

◾️It looks easy in animation, but in real life, being able to do it is quite impressive. Well, it impresses me, at least (because he's 8, like what-)

PUMP.

1. Strength.

◾️Pump seems to be quite strong, as he is able to lift Skid, drag Susie away, and it is also easier for him to carry a bag of candy than for Skid.

◾️He reminds me of my younger sister, she is stronger than me too, tbh😅

2. Thumbs up.

◾️It's just that every male member of the Wonder Family was noticed behind this gesture lol

SOME DELTARUNE SPOILERS IDK JUST KERDLY THINGS

ooooohhhhhh so THATS how you do that.

Anyway, I've recently been thinking about Berdly, and how Kris seems to be the only person to actually like him, like, at all.

If you think about it, everyone Berdly interacts with does so out of necessity, or just being too polite to shut him down completely.

Alphys throws out the apples he gives her when hes trying to be a "teacher's pet", Susie and Ralsei pretty much disregard him, Queen TOTALLY disregards him, and even Noelle, the person he would consider his BEST FRIEND seems to just be humoring him out of pity, and if she were less of a pushover, she would ditch him entirely. Pretty much all others who know him just act like he doesn't exist.

And this isn't completely unjustified, because Berdly is a fucking insufferable asshole.

He loves to brag all the time, takes credit for other people's work, and insults others constantly to make himself feel better.

But these behaviors are shown to be out of a feeling of loneliness, that he has to act out in order to be perceived, to not be forgotten. This, ironically, brings about the exact opposite effect, and just pushes others further away from him.

He has shown time and time again that he fears being alone, he desires companionship, he copes with the resentment of others by believing they must simply be jealous of his intelligence or in love with him.

Nobody likes him, nobody wants to be his friend, he always has to be the one to initiate because everyone will just avoid him.

Except Kris.

In canon, they have been shown to often be the one to seek him out, whether it's to prank call him or play games.

Kris seems to have a bit of a soft spot for him, and are willing to go out of their way to help him when he needs it (like when he accidently uninstalled minecrap and kris walked him through fixing it and NOELLE FUCKING SAID IT WAS CUTE LIKE GIRL YOU KNOW WHO THE BIG PRANK CALLER IS IN THIS TOWN YOU THINK KRIS WAS CUTE TO HIM)

Well, Kris seems to be a kind person in general, this tends to only present itself in serious situations, doing something like that seems a biiiit out of character for them.

Also the bit with him in the hospital fucking FLOORED me, like oh my god Kris you asked Susie to stay behind, turned on the radiator, changed his FUCKING WATER BOTTLE, and then noticed that "it might be your imagination, but he seems calmer" like bestie i didn't know you were NURTURING like i get dragging him across hometown to get him to the hospital and then slumping over to Noelle's house to reassure and warn her, but to FUCKING try to NURSE BERDLY BACK TO HEALTH like do you know????? do you FUCKING know???? how many hurt/comfort fics i have read??????? do you know??????????? WTFFFFFFFFFFFFF

And what's also really cute is how in the normal route the two options on the Berdly phone call in chapter 4 BOTH lead to Berdly expecting Kris to wanna be his date at the festival???? this plus the fact Susie and Noelle are canonically gonna be going together as a DATE??????

But, yeah, anyway, I think Kris genuinely cares about Berdly, possibly as more than a friend?????

I think they would be mostly frustrated at the SOUL for fucking with whatever plans Kris has at the festival for dark fountains and shit, and those probably wouldn't involve Berdly.

I have this head canon that skid and pump are like master trick-or-treaters, they know what they’re doing they would easily be able to tell if their candy has razors or any type of sharp objects in it just by looking at them for five seconds or less they do it just to be safe so when they’re done, they sit down and check everything to make sure it’s razor free
