🍕 It's the last day before a break! Your character is going to meet some friends for lunch after the half day to celebrate. They're hardly hungry, though, after sneaking a few slices during the pizza party.

🧑‍🏫 Your character has to suffer through a long professional development day. They have hours of presentations to sit through, but at least there's a breakfast buffet to nibble at, and getting up here and there for a snack is a great way to get a break from the uncomfortable chair.

🕜 It's a half day today, and your character's schedule is all screwed up. Their lunchtime is now after the early dismissal, much later than usual, and they wind up eating too much too quickly in their frenzy to finally get some food in their belly.

🥵 The beginning and end of the school year involve a lot of physical labor in a sweltering hot classroom to get it ready and pack it back up again. It's important to keep hydrated! Maybe a little too hydrated, in fact, especially once your character gets tired and starts taking more frequent water breaks to avoid their other tasks.

🍲 There's a union meeting today, and they're providing dinner to motivate people to come. Your character goes for the cause and the food, but not a ton of people join them, so there's more than enough catering to go around.

📒 Report cards are due, and your character has a ton of grading to catch up on. Obviously, the best thing to do is get absorbed in the task with a handful of snacks standing by, nibbling away until they realize just how much they've eaten over the past couple hours.

🍩 It's Teacher Appreciation Week! Your character goes down to the teacher's lounge after dismissal to make copies and finds a multitude of snacks left out by administration. With most of their coworkers gone for the day, and knowing many of the snacks won't last well, they decide to take advantage.

☕ Your character comes home at the start of winter break with an armful of edible gifts from students and coworkers alike. What better way to kick off the break than snuggling up with a big mug of fancy hot chocolate, and a bag of cookies, and some candy, and…

On A Full Belly prompts

🧋 Your character gets a big beverage on their way home from a long day. Their partner/housemate/friend had the same idea, and when they get home a little bit later, they have a big beverage too--and they've thoughtfully brought one for your character as well.

🧁 Your character goes out for dinner with some other people, and they're stuffed silly by the end of the meal. They're ready to go home and sleep it off, but everybody else at the table wants dessert, and your character feels pressured to join them.

🍚 Somebody screwed up their lunch, and they offer it to your character, who is known to enjoy whatever flavor is going on with it. It would've been a perfectly timed surprise half an hour ago, but your character has just eaten. Still, they'd hate to see the food go to waste.

🍜 Your character is perfectly stuffed after a big bowl of ramen, but there's still a lot of broth left in the bowl. Not wanting to leave it behind, they go ahead and finish it off on top of their already full belly.

🥤 Your character gets a nice drink at a restaurant--maybe one of those fancy lemonades or something--and the server brings them a refill without asking. They don't really have room for another one, but it seems a shame to let it go to waste.

🥵 Your character manages to make it through a full spicy meal before the heat catches up to them. Desperate to cool their mouth of all the built-up spice, they gulp down a big glass of water, or better yet, milk. It helps, until they realize just how full they suddenly feel.

🍪 After a get-together filled with lots of good food, your character can't even think about another bite. It's not long after the big meal, however, that somebody decides to start cutting into an irresistible-looking dessert.

🖇️ Your character has been extremely busy, barely taking time to eat, and the people around them know it, so somebody kindly surprises them with lunch. They feel a lot better after the much-needed lunch break, but that person wasn't the only one with the idea--not long after they finish eating, another person surprises them with lunch.

🥗 Your character is at a restaurant, and they feel stuffed to the gills after just their soup or salad and maybe an appetizer. They'll feel silly if they don't touch their entree before asking for a box, though.

🎂 A friend or partner made a special dinner for your character, maybe for their birthday or some other occasion. It's delicious, and they're absolutely stuffed afterwards, but the other person is very excited about the dessert they made special for your character, and it would be a shame to disappoint them.

🚫 …the owner is weirdly pretentious about eating the food while it's at its prime and strongly discourages taking home leftovers.

🍰 …they only serve dessert to customers who clean their plates.

📏 …the whole meal is free for anybody whose belly sticks out far enough to touch the table by the time they're done (and yes, they do their best to make sure it doesn't start that way, although it might be unavoidable for some).

🫰 …"all you can eat" is taken seriously, and customers who don't stuff themselves to their absolute limit have to pay an extra fee.

🫳 …customers are offered a free belly rub, administered by their very eager server, at the end of the meal.

🥡 …the portions are so big that the restaurant frequently runs out of takeout boxes--your character might not be lucky enough to get one.

🍟 …they take "bottomless" items very seriously, and are quick to refill plates without asking.

👚 …they offer a discount to anybody whose belly causes a wardrobe malfunction--popped buttons, exposed skin, etc--by the time they're done eating.
