Okay, I have a headcanon that goes with this: Since Bon is relentlessly bullied and left out, he doesn't have any friends. Kage would actually be his first ever friend, but because of never having anyone before him, he gets incredibly lonely when Kage isn't around. This stems from his abandonment issues and fear of being alone again. There are days where Kage won't be able to hang out so Bon is forced to be alone, which leaves him incredibly anxious. On these days, he can't help but stare at his phone in hopes that Kage would call him back, even if it's for a minute.

Finally, I can post this drawing in peace! It's been sitting in my gallery for a month now bc I kept putting it aside for other drawings.
