Clone Showdown

Hi all! Welcome to clone show down. Two is better than one! Do you have a character that's a copy of another character? Submit them here!

Guidelines:

Real clones (Dolly the sheep, self-cloning organisms, etc) will be allowed!

Identical twins are not allowed, check out one of the twins tournaments instead!

All fictional clones are allowed: Organic 🦠Robots 🤖, Aliens 👽, or anything else!

This includes shadow-selfs, alternate universe selves, etc.

Large groups of clones are allowed but will be counted as 1 submission unless they are specifically given individual names/personalities (ex. the clones from Attack of the Clones)

If the character being a clone is a spoiler I will tag it approximately

The number of the tournament will depend on feedback and the amount of submissions but currently aiming for a 64 character poll, capped at 128 if needed.

Submissions will tentatively end by November 3rd, although it may be shorter or extended depending on submissions. If it is shortened I will give 48 hours notice.

Edit: The characters will partially be determined by number of submissions so encourage people to submit your favs!

I have started going through the submissions.

It may take me a little bit to set up the bracket as I am a bit busy with my own personal life at the moment. I will be working on setting everything up when I can.

For Robin from Batman, should I submit a specific Robin, or could I submit all of them as a collective?

I’d say submit an individual Robin (but either way is fine.)

Same rules as usual with me :

- Don't submit HP / Rurouni Kenshin / MCYT characters

- They have to be FICTIONAL

- Discrimination in any form is a big no and gets you banned.

- Don't spoil anyone's fun. No antipropaganda. Try making propaganda for your faves instead. This isn't a competition to know who can be the nastiest to others.

Lots of characters have their iconic sidekick, or the friend that’s supported them no matter what. While they may get outshined by their more popular counterpart, they are loved here! Submit your sidekicks and watch them fight in this all out smackdown!!!

Who is eligible for this bracket?

Any character that is a sidekick, best friend, or even assistant to a ‘bigger’ or ‘more important’ character. These characters are often overshadowed by the other character, either in their media, or in their fandom. This ‘bigger’ character does not have to be the main character, nor do they have to be a hero or a good person in the story.

Character examples:

For those who may be confused, here are some examples of characters that would be eligible for this bracket. (Feel free to submit them if you were planning on it!)

Tails - sidekick/best friend of Sonic (Sonic)

Fink - bodyguard of Professor Venomous (OKKO)

Okuyasu Nijimura - best friend of Josuke Higashikata (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure)

Foggy Nelson - best friend/voice of reason of Matt Murdock (Daredevil)

No real people- this bracket is looking for fictional characters. Characters portrayed by real people are welcome of course! Just no celebrities / influencers for this one.

Not completely sure if your character fits the theme? Submit them anyway! If they don’t fit, there’s no harm done.

Submission Rules

Character’s name, the character they are connected to, what their role is (friend, sidekick, etc.), the media they are from. A picture is appreciated, but not necessary.

Submitting propaganda along with the character is encouraged (but not necessary.) Tell us why you think your character should win!

Submitting a maximum of 1-2 characters is suggested, though I literally cannot stop you from submitting more.
