You move closer and all he sees is what it would cost to lose you.

He tells himself to stay sharp.

Detached.

But you’re steady. Quiet.

Not asking for anything, just staying.

And somehow, that’s worse.

Because the real danger

is how much he wants you to.

You’ve proven yourself. Earned your place.

He respects your mind—

but respect isn’t the same as trust. And trust is dangerous.

Sevika sees through it.

“This your plan? Ignore it ‘til you implode?”

He doesn’t answer.

Because at night, in sleep—

That’s the only place his silence turns into confession.

The only place he lets himself think about you.

And in the morning,

he wakes up like it never happened.

How long before the dreams aren’t enough?

But your skills?

Too dangerous to let the other chem-barons have.

So he hires you.

Keeps you at a distance.

Under surveillance.

Criticizes everything.

And hates that every move you make echoes louder than he wants to admit.

Singed had been a mentor at the academy.

Before exile.

Before shimmer.

Years later, when you reached your breaking point—

you didn’t go looking for comfort. You went looking for direction. He sent you to Silco.

And with one look,

you knew it was over.

Not the job.

he offers it to you in flames.

But Sevika?

I want her to crush me with her bicep and walk away like it meant nothing.

This is the result of a heated internal custody battle.

Sevika won. Barely.

No explanation. No warning.

He doesn’t look up, just sits there.

Quiet. Terrifying.

Finally, he speaks,

”I thought you were smarter than to disappear on me.

You think loyalty is optional?”

You try to explain.

“I left so they wouldn’t use me to hurt you.”

Silence. Then his eyes meet yours.

You whisper,

“I did it for you. All of it.”

His voice is low, lethal…

”Then show me.”

Hi!! I love your Silco art, do you think you can post the completed drawings along with the process videos, like how you did with the priest Silco piece? 🥹 I love seeing the process but I also wanna drool over the final product without having to screenshot a frame at the very end

Yes absolutely! I’m just a slow to finish my drawings. 🥲 I’m trying to complete one of them right now. I’m very critical of my own work and it never looks right to me so I struggle posting the final product. I think I’ve redrawn his eyeball about 25 times already. 😭

I’m a visual person, so I’ve been creating edits and drawings to bring the Silco story in my head to life.

The only way I’m allowed to draw another character at this point is if he’s also in the picture.

Ahhhh thank you! I was so nervous to post them even on TikTok. I haven’t drawn in like 8 years and just started again earlier this year. Never used colored pencils or the markers so some of the first few drawings were a little rough 😅 I have no idea how to use tumblr either so I’m just winging it 😭🙏🏼

First I drew him as a priest. Then he was kneeling. What’s next? Probably therapy. But not for me.
