diary of an autistic kid: friday, 13th december, 2019 (part two)

hey again diary! its currently 3:30 pm because i missed my chance to write during school.

my mom is picking me up to go to her house in an hour. i haven't seen her in a month.

honestly, don't know if i'm looking forward to it. i have to hide my stims and stuff there because of my step brother.

he's just like coal, but worse. i love him and all because he's my brother, but sometimes i wish we never met. more info about that later, maybe.

hopefully i get to do something fun with my mom. i like being at home most of the time, but not her's. we have to live in a garage there.

she isn't abusive or anything, it's just that my parent's divorce hasn't been exactly finalized and she can't buy a house with her fiance yet. so she lives with him in his parent's house for now.

i mean, it's better than them being homeless, but i don't have any privacy there. there's barely anything to do and my mom expects me to do something.

i've never been an outside person, and their backyard is always muddy anyways. but hey, at least they have dogs!

dogs are great. i really want a pet but the apartment doesn't allow them, not even fish. kinda lame, and i don't get why apartments don't allow pets. it's not like they're gonna do any harm. just let me have my animals, dammit!

this entry is longer than expected.. i'll make another this night though.

diary of an autistic kid: friday, 13th of december, 2019 (part one)

dear diary,

hi! not gonna reveal my real name on here, so call me.. auto! yeah! i'm auto. i like to think i'm pretty cheerful most of the time, but that's a lie. i've got major anxiety.

right now, i'm at school. it's 8 am and i'm in the common room with my friends. they're all great people! except for this one guy, we'll call him.. coal.

coal isn't the best of people, he's super homophobic and ableist. but, he's a friend..

he doesn't know i'm autistic, and i don't plan on telling him if i wanna live.

the only person i've told is my best friend, seb! (fake name) he's really supportive and he's the only person i'm really close to within my friend group.

today, at lunch, we're having "FRIENDS-MAS"! it's where we all bring food for lunch and basically have a little feast. annual thing.

that's it for this morning, i'll check back in second period!
