Book Report: "Wishing on Winter"

Wishing on Winter is the third book in Brenna Bailey's Juniper Creek Golden Years series. This one affected me differently than the previous two, and bisexuality is one of the main reasons.

Our main characters are both bisexual, and they struggle with just what that identity means with regards to the wider LGBTQA+ community. Matthias struggles with being a bisexual man, and Evvie struggles with not being "queer enough" because she's bi.

The book addresses bisexual stereotypes as well as fatphobia, anxiety, and depression. And I think that might be why this one was my favorite of the series so far, as those things all affect me directly.

It's so nice to read about people like me getting their Happily Ever After.
