Looks like this is goodbye everyone.

Tumblr: A Lamentation

TL;DR - Goodbye to my lovely followers and visitors. Thank you for your warmth over the years. Take care of yourselves. Always remember that your mental health is just as important as your physical health, and that you deserve good things. I’ll probably post a dick pic after this. You can find me on:

I joined Tumblr in 2012 under the name brokenxlife, quickly changed to pencilxlead (the first name/thing that came to my bestie’s mind when I panicked and asked her) because I gave someone in real life my URL and they started spreading it around. A couple years later, I rebranded my identity as Biblicockraphy, moving on from the “Witty Title Here” at the top of my page to more a more streamlined, and dare I say classier, approach to my NSFW content curation. (A small shoutout to my music playlist filled with minimalistic piano music that I had to remove because it was showing up as a virus, but I got some really nice comments about it and I think it really helped set a tone for my blog’s new identity.)

I loved being able to filter and categorise everything. That’s how my mind works. I see something, I process it, I put it in a box and keep it for later. I know exactly where everything is whenever I want to find it. Hence why tagging has always played a big role for me. Each tag became a blog within my blog. Ass, Black and White, Perf, etc. Sure it took time, but everything was in order, and I loved it. Fast forward to the end of 2018, and I have 23,611 Followers, 36,538 Posts, 16,755 Drafts, 69,572 Likes, and over 1 Million Desktop Views.

I joined tumblr to help me get over a major breakup in 2012. I stuck with tumblr because it helped me process my loneliness, depression and compulsion to archive and organise. Hence, Sexual Compensation for Emotional Validation. It’s porn, yes. But the chain reaction has honestly positively affected my mental health up to this day. I’ve met a lot of memorable people on here - friendships that have lasted 5+ years, and friendships with shorter seasons. To those who may never read this: I have not forgotten you.

Thank you for all the interactions over the past half-decade. Each message, reblog and like helped me feel an iota less alone with my thoughts. (Even if you were only on here because you were horny and wanted to get off.) Tumblr helped me discover my sexuality, and learn to relate to others through their sexualities. Physical, emotional, mental, sexual; at the end of the day, we are all human with bodies - wants and needs.

As for how I feel: I am numb, and accepting. I cannot change the outcome. I can only learn from the experience, use it to better myself, and move on.

On semi-hiatus. Got a full time job and I'm on 3 other active committees. Will fill my queue once I settle into my job and can better manage my time.
