For the record, I did notice that I accidentally reblogged a yugioh post to this blog (literally as soon as I did it), but I decided to leave it because honestly it's important you guys know I'm a yugioh guy at heart always and forever. I need people to be reminded of who I am at my core every once in a while.
#and yes i know what always and forever means in this franchise but i used that before i watched anything#tvdu and i kind of do not like that i cant use it without thinking of that anymore. bc sometimes I'm trying to be sincere. this is not a#deep post but i genuinely cannot explain how important yugioh is to me and how much of a staple it is to who i am. like as a person.#im a yugioh guy. always#and ok yes its the 4kids dub leave me alone. its what i got attached to in my childhood and i have enjoyed my rewatches#like i probably will seriously consider reading the manga at some point but that deep connection i have and what makes up such a cornerston#of myself is to the 4kids dub. im sure its an unfortunate thing to people who watched sub or read the manga but like. i will always be#extremely grateful for it.#also this sounds so defensive and i realize i sound angry in a lot of these tags. for the record im not. im just thinking#but yeah like the 'leave me alone' part. i am aware no one said anything or is even reading these tags#im not like angry at a made up person. i just havent slept in too many hours and im thinkin about yugioh man#unrelated but i probably will read the manga one day bc i know some things about it from other people and shit and#one thing i would love more of is yugi as a character#on my most recent Yu-Gi-Oh rewatch (first in years) i realized how frustrating it is that yugi gets so little as his own character#at least in the serious situations. (i actually was also thinking about how none of yugis friends ever call atem by anything but yugi in th#whole arc where yugis gone (in the dub) for a while. like they know he is not yugi. and i get they dont know his name but he has names#people have called him. they could absolutely be calling him yami. idk i was just thinking about how much it must suck to never be referred#to by anything but someone elses name. how unacknowledged you'd have to feel sometimes from that. and i know he doesnt care and im#projecting. but i am who i am and projecting ont chatacters is what i do best. and Also i genuienly do think thatd be upsetting. i mean in#the storyline atem is way too mad at himself and depressed to care about anything other than getting yugi back or his guilt over all that#and how much he misses him. but still. It's fun to scroll through a bunch of drafts. Like oh yeah. I forgot about the jandon runaway au.

A really interesting Legacies AU would be one where Landon starts out the series knowing he is a phoenix. Or at the very least, knowing he comes back from the dead. Perhaps in that car accident with Rafael that triggered his werewolf curse, it could have been Landon who died instead of Cassie. That would also avoid the whole women in refrigerators aspect of Raf's turning. But Landon came back from the dead, and he has no idea why, just that he's not going to tell Raf what happened, because not only is it absolutely crazy, but it would just make Rafael feel horrible. But then, Raf becomes a werewolf and Hope & Alaric take them to the school, and they're asking Landon who Rafael killed. And he won't answer the question, because how is he supposed to explain that he is the one who was killed in the car accident when he's standing right there? Now I want to write a fanfic about this, but I'm so busy right now, and I have Gigolas fics to write first, so it might be a while.
