Legacies 1x04 Rewatch:

Just seeing all the comic book decor in MG's room makes me so sad that we never got to see him and Landon geek out together

The amount of (lame) TVD cameos in S1 was wild considering they did not keep that energy up

If I had a nickel for every time the Salvatore School made a fake exchange program with Mystic Falls High over a murder, I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice

"Who are you and what did you do with Hope Mikaelson?" Just you wait ...

The blatant use of TVD scenes for the exterior shots of MFHS and they couldn't even match the green filter of Legacies

hey, out of curiosity, do you feel welcome in the legacies comminity on tumblr? i’ve noticed because of ship wars that hosies seem to be shunned a bit. i guess more so when it comes to the gif making community

Hello, Anonymous Hosie Friend! 😀

I probably have the most uninformative perspective on that question, because I am nearly every bit as much an introvert here on tumblr as I am in the physical world 😂

I follow mostly the dwindling number of now-less-active fellow Hosie authors and don’t make an effort to interact with the larger Legacies/TVDU fandom outside of what those authors pull into my dashboard. (I even fell out of habit of checking the Hosie tag once Kaylee’s last episode aired; I don’t think I’ve checked it since this past Hosietober 😳) And I almost never tag my own posts Legacies unless it is broadly applicable, so I’m not pulled into the loop that way, either. (Probably not good for my reach, but my goal wasn’t to be widely known, so…)

Based on my run-ins with The Handon Troll™ on AO3, it doesn’t surprise me that the larger Legacies community here on tumblr isn’t entirely welcoming to Hosies—though it does sadden me 😢 Fandom is love, and we should live and let live, but that seems quite difficult for some folks 😢

Thanks for the Ask (my Asks are always open, y’all), and I hope in time you’ll be able to find a space here that’s as welcoming as it should be 🤞
